The media could not be loaded. This was my first time trying a magnetic polish and I’m pleased with the results! It came with instructions and a magnet, dried quickly, and it’s non-gel so I can remove it easily. The pictures are 2 coats + 1 clear topcoat of sally hanson’s miracle gel. TBD on how long it will last but for the price it seems to be a great value. Magnet is a little small (can be hard to grip) but effective. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This polish is beautiful and reactive to the magnet but doesn’t react to shape tools (like hearts, for example). It’s a pretty color and I can at least get cat eye effect but not the shapes I’d hoped for. Maybe it’s me and my skills are lacking, maybe I need a stronger magnet than the one that came with it but for whatever reason it doesn’t make the shapes no matter how many times I try. The polish application is smooth and coverage is great. I did my mom’s nails last week and they’re still going strong. I did my own yesterday and so far, it’s durable and I am hard on polish. Doesn’t seem to work very well. Turns the green to black not cats eye. No matter how many layers. Red goes darker to black but still no cats eye effect regardless of which position the magnet is. Read more
Value for money: This nail polish is great for the price. Functionality: I have a 30lb magnet and it reacts really well to it for a regular velvet effect. I also have a rinky-dink lil cylinder bar magnet and it does not react too well to it, so keep that in mind when ordering. Color: This polish is true to color. I saw other reviews mention that you’ll need multiple coats to have decent coverage. To use as a topper or an undercoat to a jelly, 1 coat is sufficient. On its own, 2 (or 3 max) would suffice. Durability and chip resistance: I haven’t owned it long enough to say how it is on its own, but using a decent base/top coat is paramount for any magnetic polish to really last and look good. If you opt to not use a top coat, this polish does not dry fully matte but rather a a semi-gritty shine. Other info: reminder to use thicker coats with any magnetic lacquer polish and magnetize each nail for at least 1 minute. If you use a top coat, magnetize that as well for best results. Red is beautiful but does not “cat eye” at all, very sticky and needs cured although the description says quick dry. If anyone is looking for cat eye effect with this red I don’t recommend Read more
