This is a comfortable pair of moderately length running shorts. The shorts land about 2 inches above my knees, so I consider the shorts full-length but not long. A thin, stretchy fabric makes up the shorts and feels very smooth. The shorts are not mesh in the traditional sense, but if you hold the shorts up to a light, one can definitely see the mesh nature of the shorts. There is also a mesh strip running along the top back side of the shorts and extending down the legs. The mesh strip is difficult to see through when wearing the shorts, but it would still be smart to wear undergarments; the shorts lack a liner and have a mesh opening. Overall, the shorts feel very comfortable while wearing and the slight mesh design makes these running shorts breathe better than other running shorts made of similar material. So as long as one is okay with a semi-full length running shorts that go down practically to the knees, and is ok with the mesh strip, they would probably like these with its semi mesh fabric. These are very comfortable and light weight shorts. I use them for light workouts and even took them on a cruise to wear during daily excursions and in the hot tub. The fit is true to the size large as far as I can tell and they have plenty of room for movement. When I ordered them, I did not notice the mesh area in the back is see through so you need to be aware of that. I like that they have pockets for your keys, cards or whatever. They are breathable and have an unusual material pattern which makes them look much higher end than they are. They wash up well and dry quickly. I am 6'3" 195# and the size large fits me perfectly. I even ordered another pair in a different color. They are currently on sale for under $10.00 and I think that is a bargain. I am very happy with these shorts and would definitely recommend them..... These fit pretty true to size. They have the look of a Lululemon Pace Breaker short, although the material is different. This has almost a square pattern to the fabric weave. They are thin and dry very quickly. I like the army green color. There are pockets and one has a zipper to safely hold keys, energy gel, or something else if needed.
