I've ridden skateboards for some time, mostly casually, and this one is different from any others I've used, given the front truck setup. It isn't a huge board, but not quite so small as to call it a penny board. It's more of a surf style cruiser. It seems to be well made, with sturdy metal trucks and large cruising wheels. The board itself is plastic, but it is strong, barely flexing under my 190lbs. It does have a slight hump in the middle, which probably helps with that. That front truck is the only thing I'm not in love with. It seems to have some sort of internal spring mechanism that forces it back to center when no pressure is on it, which is better than just a swivel, but it still turns easier than I'd prefer. I like putting the toes of my lead foot over the front trucks on most boards for the sake of control, but I have to put both feet well back of the front trucks on this board in order to avoid wobbling a ton even at slow and moderate speeds. I think it would probably be better for someone smaller and lighter than me so that the resetting springs have more ability to stabilize it. I will say that if you can get going on it, it is super maneuverable and provides a comfortable ride with the large wheels and sturdy deck. Read more

This is a very cute skateboard. It feels well made and sturdy. The design is beautiful. The wheels have sparkling colors when turning which is fun. I'm not an expert on the different types of skateboards but this one is easy to ride and turn. It holds up to 140 pounds so is suitable for a big child for a small adult. Read more

We ordered this for my eight-year-old who has been through two smaller skateboards, and just hasn’t picked it up at all. He’s been using this a few weeks, an alternate between trying to stand up and just scooting around on it on his buns. I’m not complaining since he had a concussion recently is enjoying it. He loves the lights on the wheels and the amount of grit. The grit does seem a bit bumpy in a few places. One thing that was really odd is that they seem to have put plastic over the board and then screwed the wheels on. So on both sides, you have to try to pull the plastic out of the screw holes. Kind of weird but overall this is getting him outside even in the cold, so it’s a win for us. Read more
