I will make this short and sweet. I have been using Nair for years to get rid my woman mustache and for years I have hated it because it burns and leaves my skin so red, but I thought it was my only option that actually worked. I tried a couple of other products including Sally's, which did not work at all. I used Surgi cream recently and I am so happy with the results. It does not burn to put on and you only have to leave it on for 4 minutes. It comes with a little scraper and, when the 4 minutes are up, you simply scrape the hair off. When I used Nair, I would have to do it the day before so that the redness would be gone before I had to go out in public. A red upper lip is a bit embarrassing. Works as described. My skin is noteceably brighter and smoother without the Plague of the Peach Fuzz! It is less effective on thicker hair on the upper lip and chin. The longest my skin can tolerate it is 10 minutes- after that I begin to have red blotches lasting 2 days. The post-removal cream was amazing! And I hate all creams because of my acne prone skin! Some background- I have always suffered from noticeable peach fuzz on my cheeks. Various methods like waxing, threading the sides of my face (ouch!), using creams like Veet, Nair, Anne French have had limited results or been too painful or expensive. Recently my peach fuzz got even worse due to Rogaine that I was using on my head- and I was desperate! I do have to use it at least once a month though but it does work! Read more

DO NOT use this if you have sensitive skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin and will have an issue every once and a while with a new face skincare product. I tried this to remove peach fuzz from my face. While it did remove all of the peach fuzz, my skin had a horrible reaction. I then looked into it more and have run into a bunch of other people that have also had chemical burns from facial hair removal products. My face only started hurting after removing the product(not when I first put it on or had it on). After removing the product, I felt a burning sensation in my face. It progressively got worse. My skin is red and irritated & my face is swollen. My skin feels raw, tight, and uncomfortable now. I will not be using this product again. Read more

I used to use solely Avon facial hair remover but you can never get it anymore so I had to find an alternative. I tried several different removers and found them ALL lacking. Some I had to leave on as long as 20 minutes and they still left behind stragglers. And most smell horrendous! I tried this one although I thought it had a very odd name.
