I've been using a Sonicare for a while but was tempted to try Suri because of its lightweight footprint (both physically and ecologically). I'm blown away. This toothbrush packs a mighty punch for such a slim profile. It is super easy to take with you traveling, and the battery seems to last forever. Most importantly the cleaning feels great. This toothbrush is ELITE! I’ve owned a few electric toothbrushes and this by far is the best. The cleaning power is strong and the bristles are medium/soft and thorough. The design is sleek and the simplicity of makes it feel unlike your run of the mill electric toothbrush. The UV-light cleaning case is a game changer…so easy to travel with. Compact, great build quality, simple to use, great design, well balanced, no unnecessary frills that aren’t used, plus accessories are great! The case is awesome, it only charges the brush when plugged in, as it only has a small battery to power the uv light for bristle sterilization. But that’s no problem because it removes the need to bring the other charger and it has usb-c so minimizes charging accessories to bring when traveling! There are so many things I love about this toothbrush, but there are a few things I don't. It's actually the second Sonic toothbrush I've ordered from SURI, But this model is an upgrade because it includes a very sturdy case that sanitizes your toothbrush head with a UV light and charges it at the same time. It features two speeds, the white light indicates gentle brushing, while the blue light is for deep cleaning. The brush heads are small and round, which I prefer as I think they get better coverage this way. I have not had any issues with sensitivity around the gum line, and the sound is incredibly quiet. My teeth feel about a thousand times cleaner than they do using a manual toothbrush. So what are the caveats? Well, first: I received the wrong color. Kind of a small complaint, but at $135, it makes a big difference to me since that basically qualifies it as a luxury purchase. I ordered it in blue / morning wave, but received the plain white one. Again, a small thing, but when I'm spending that much money it's because I like the features and customization. The 2.0 model comes with a charging cable / USB cord, which is an upgrade from the original. I've been using this toothbrush for about 2 weeks now, at least five times a day, and it's still running on the original charge. My original SURI model did not have the charging case either, And I definitely feel like the price increase is justified for including both of these things in the new model. In addition to the case and charging cable, it comes with a silicone cover for your toothbrush head while traveling, along with an adhesive wall mount. Both my original model, and the 2.0 only came with a single brush head. Given the price, I would have expected at least two to three additional replacement brushes/heads. They do have a website, which sells sets of replacement heads for about $11, so for the time being at least I know where to get them. But I do have concerns about the longevity of the company, and by proxy, the availability of replacement brush heads in the future. I'm still looking for a dupe, will update if I find any. Caveats aside, I really do like this toothbrush. Just not thrilled to receive the wrong color, and no additional brush heads. That said, the quietness, sleek design, accessories, and overall power are all strong selling points. This upgraded model is a better value, imo, then the original. The fact that it's not causing issues with sensitivities in my teeth and gums, along with how clean my mouth feels after I use it, make it a standout compared to competitors. If you're in the market for an electric/sonic toothbrush, this is a good one, just bear in mind you'll need to look for hard to find replacement heads; also, as I mentioned before, the original model does not come with a charger. I found that to be very surprising, and while I'm glad I have the docking/charging case from this model to use on both, that combined with the fact that there's only one brush head per device is kind of annoying. Love this toothbrush! So many great features. I love the feel in my hand, and appreciate how easily the head comes off for cleaning/drying. Love that it doesn’t rattle my brain when it touches my teeth. Much better than other, less expensive electric toothbrushes. Also appreciate the case with built in charger and uv feature.
