These pants are actually very baggy. Most of the time, "baggy" pants aren't baggy enough. I got these for my 15-year-old son, who always wants baggy. He actually said they are too baggy. He is 5'6" and 115 lbs. He wears a belt with it, even though it has an internal tie to adjust the size. It's basically a thick ribbon that you can tie into a knot, not the kind of internal cinch that you tighten with buttons. The bottom width looks wider than in the photos, but it could be because he isn't tall enough. The material is ok, mostly polyester. It looks well-made. No loose threads or buttons.
