The SUTRA Ultra Violet Blow Dryer is a solid mid‑range blow dryer that delivers good value. It’s lightweight, versatile, reduces frizz, and gives a smooth, glossy finish that rivals salon results. I found that it works great for my purposes. I have tons of fine hair and it often takes a long time to fully dry my hair. It is best when combined with heat protectant. I do like Sutra products. I have not been using this for more than a couple of months so I do not know about long-term durability. The noise level when in use is average and comparable to other brands. I'm a big fan of this hair dryer. It is not particularly lightweight, but it is easy to maneuver, and my hair ends up looking silky smooth and shiny. It dries my hair quickly, and I can set the style with the cool shot button. I love the color of the dryer. It goes well with my love of purple. First impression, gorgeous! This is perfect for the person who loves displaying and feels good using nice hair devices. I will say, there is a bit of a chemical smell when you open the box and it hits you in the throat. But I will just take it out of the box and that will be fine. It is surprisingly heavy despite its size. the color is a pretty lavender. With rose gold controls. The diffuser in the image is the true color of the entire blow dryer. I honestly did not expect to like this as much as I do, but this is a 5 star blow dryer. It powers on immediately. There are 2 heat levels with a cool shot. It is not loud and in fact, sounds like a salon quality dryer. Your hair is going to dry at different speeds depending on how much you have and how quick it is, but I would not hesitate to recommend this. I just wish it came in a more neutral color for my own taste preference. It will be kept in the guest bath or will be my go to for travel as it is much less bulky than the one I currently use. I really like this hair dryer! First off the soft touch satin surface feels nice in the hands. Right off the bat, it feel nice high quality. It's very durable and had a good weight, but not too heavy. The noise level is consistent with hair dryers that give enough power, but not so overbearing in sounds. I like how this goes from cool air, warm air, hot air, back to warm air then cool air. It make it easy to go back and forth to warm and hot and not back to cool. I found that different than most hair dryers, but interesting. I also love the light purple color as well. The strength in the fan speed works well too. It may have length in the hand held portion, but the head of it is a good compact size. It comes with the stylizer attachment and the diffuser. I like how the attachment are magnetic. If find that almost a must for these types of hairdryers at this value. Because its magnetic I think it's great value as it makes it easier to switch attachments without any struggle. I am thoroughly impressed with this mid-size hair dryer. It is nicely packaged and the color is a pretty lavender. It is lightweight and smaller than a standard hair drier (but not necessarily travel-size). The magnetic air condenser and diffuser attachments are easy to attach and remove. The controls are simple to use - either high or low speed and three temperatures settings. I am sensitive to loud, high-pitched noises and it was refreshing to dry my hair without feeling like I was going to hurt my hearing. In fact, it's very quiet but very powerful; drying my hair in a fraction of time that it takes with a "traditional" blower. A great dryer that is worth the spend. Read more
