When I first opened this sweater, I honestly laughed — it looked like a shapeless piece of ribbed fabric that someone had cut the top off of, I wasn’t entirely convinced there was any cashmere in it at all. It seemed so plain and simple, like something that would never fit right or look flattering. But then I put it on, and somehow it completely transformed. The cut drapes beautifully off the shoulder, giving it an effortlessly chic and modern look that feels both casual and elegant. The ribbing gives it just enough texture to look polished, and the grey color is that perfect neutral that works with anything. I am woman enough to apologize when I am wrong! What really surprised me is how comfortable and flattering it is once it’s on — it hugs in the right places without being clingy, almost loose and baggy yet holds you in... I know it doesn't make sense yet it feels so comfortable, and it has that kind of understated sophistication that looks like it came from a boutique. It’s one of those pieces that doesn’t photograph well until you actually wear it. I still don’t know how it goes from “plain in the bag” to “wow on the body,” but it does, and I’m not complaining. It’s still pleasant to wear and feels like pretty good quality, but don’t expect the plush density or warmth of real cashmere. The material is on the thinner side, so don't expect this to keep you super warm. The neckline can slip a bit, so occasional readjusting helps, and it’s best to wash gently to keep the fabric smooth. I am as slender as the model in the ad, yet no amount of pulling, stretching, etc could make this sweater fit as pictured. It just looks very odd, such as having the shoulder sleeve halfway down your arm, leaving bat like wings under your arm. And the neckline is not really hemmed, it’s just sewn thread on raw knit, and looks cheap. So, I’m going to hem the neckline, with a two inch hem on the higher side to a one inch on the lower. That alteration should give a much more finished and attractive neckline. Update- completed my alteration to the neckline and it looks so much better! Now I have a raised boatneck that looks so pretty! And all the shoulder seams fall where they are supposed to! Read more

This is a beautiful high quality sweater that is soft to the touch— love that it is made with cashmere! Material is stretchy and durable— there were no loose threads. Love the off-the-shoulder design which is very sexy, as well as, the asymmetrical bottom design. This is a beautiful sweater to wear on casual days or nights out.
