The fabric feels warm and breathable and NOT itchy at all, and the cable knit design gives it a nice classic touch. I really like the V-neck. I plan to wear it normally and layer it on top of another collared shirt to dress it up or a mock neck to give a more relaxed style. For reference, I’m about 5'7" and 185 lbs, and the fit gives that loose, comfortable oversized vibe without looking sloppy. It’s easy to pair with jeans or leggings and I think it would look great layered under a coat for cooler weather. I ordered this in the dark green and this sweater is very soft and has a nice weight to it. I’m giving it only 4 stars because the sleeves are extremely long and and cover part of my hand, which I find to be one of the best things about this sweater, but that’s because I’m 5’9” with extremely long arms and legs so regular clothing always looks like it shrunk 3” on me. This is an oversized cable knit sweater sweater made of medium weight, super soft, loosely weaved material, very breathable. The wine color is very rich, just as pictured. Because it is quite oversized (I'd say two sizes large if you're fit trim), I'd recommend you choose a size based on your body shape and desired look. I like that it's super soft, so it wears quite comfortably. However, even though the instructions say to hand wash, I'm a bit concerned that the weight of the material combined with the loose weave may cause the sweater to stretch out, so I'll be washing it very carefully and laying it flat to dry. That's too much work for one sweater in this day and age, so I'm not thrilled about that, which is why I deducted one star. I deducted a second star because I feel it is overpriced which, combined with the added care required, means i wouldn't purchase again, even though I like the sweater, and look forward to wearing it. The only thing I love more than a soft, fluffy, cozy blanket is a soft, cozy, oversized sweater! The one fits the bill with its loose-fit style. The deep chocolate color feels so comforting, like being snuggled in a soft cup of hot chocolate. I love the large neckline that doesn't feel like strangulation, and the generous sleeve length. I'm 5'5 and about 104 lbs and couldn't decide between the xs and small, but ended up opting for the small and am happy with my choice as it gives me that "husband shirt" vibe. It seems well-made and has yet to snag on anything. The material isn't scratchy, itchy or irritating to my overly-sensitive skin at all. The thickness is perfect for fall and winter, or if you're anything like me, to protect you from the a/c while lounging indoors. I don't even bother hanging this one in the closet because I wear it while lounging with the hubby on the sofa. Overall, I'm delighted I added this piece of chocolate coziness to my wardrobe and I can't wait to wear it out of the house when the weather turns cooler here in Texas, paired with leggings and boots!
