while trying to prepare myself for old age and the impending extra weight that everyone tells me appears overnight (something to look forward to - like a root canal), i purchased this swimsuit, while silently hoping i would never wear a one piece. i felt kind of weird, wearing a one piece, but man, this suit is comfortable - it slims you down in the tummy, but doesn't feel binding. you kind of have to adjust the top so you aren't squished, but the lift is good. For the style it is a super cute suit. It does not cinch your stomach or provide any kind of tummy control. The side stripes help to give the illusion of a narrower middle, but it will not give you a waiste as the strings pull the straps and does not pull the sides enough to flatten your stomach or cinch your waist. The fit is way off! I had to order a size extra large just to fit my breasts in, and even then, the fit was off. There isn’t a real strap adjustment for the breast area, you just have to tighten the back strings, which just doesn’t work and was too complicated. I wanted to love this, but the ex large was too big in every place but my breasts, it wasn’t comfortable and I felt like my nipple was going to slip out. The coverage was bad, no stretch, and the cut was horrible. It definitely wasn’t worth the money. The only thing that was okay was the material quality, but in the end I returned both the large and extra large. Read more
