Better than I expected based on reviews I read! Glad I took a chance on it.
I expected this to be really thin (not warm) based on some of the reviews I read but I think it's actually pretty solid with good density and isn't porous at all. It's negative 5 in upstate NY right now and I tested it out and it wasn't any worse than any other light pair of gloves. Better than a thin pair of mittens for sure. I think it would be just fine in a tailgate in 35-40 degree weather. You also have plenty of room to add heat warmers or a thin pair of mittens underneath it if you want. I thought it would also be very small based on some other user reviews and that I'd have to give it to my sister instead, but I have larger than average hands (male) and my hands fit fine. (I liked it so much I wound up buying one for her anyway and another two for friends.) The "small" part is the opening for your bottle/can and I actually think it's well designed. The opening is small so that it isn't loose around bottles or skinny aluminum cans but it will stretch a bit to fit snug around a standard aluminum can. The drink cannot fall through as the knitting also creates a base. I'll wind up buying more of them. Read more
