These are the best linen pants! I bought in white for that crisp and clean summer linen look. They go with everything. When they arrived I just thought they were okay , but then I wore them and they are super comfortable and no fuss pants. Pull on design, with some lovely front buttons making them look button-up. They are my very hot day go-to pants! Lightweight, extremely comfortable, wash well and with deep, very useful pockets. Nothing falls out of these pockets. And they are durable.. I bought 2 pairs a couple years ago and one pair just got eaten by a bad washing machine in Croatia so I was going to replace them - they’re out of my size - so I thought I would leave a review instead. These are comfortable and the fact that they’re thin isn’t necessarily bad thing. If you wear neutral color undergarments, you won’t see through them all - they will work for the summer. The legs are straight all the way to the bottom if you want them to cinch, you have to do it yourself or taper them in with elastic or button, which I’ll probably do. Read more
I was never interested in linen clothing because I felt it wrinkled too much. We were in southern France in July, though, and I needed cool clothes that would also be quick drying (after washing in hotel sinks). I kept hearing linen, linen, linen...so I went for it. I'm so glad I did! Yes, it wrinkles, but I was on vacation, so I didn't need a freshly-ironed look. I was able to wash these in the hotel sink, squeeze them out, let them drip over the shower for a little while, then squeeze out more water by using a towel, and then hanging it up. They dried well that way--ready to wear the next day. These are baggy. I was going to sew a loop-style button at the bottom of each leg but didn't have time. It was really OK. These have pockets, and they hold a decent amount--my iphone 11 was fine in them. I did read about linen being scratchy, so I did follow the recommended techniques at home before our trip (in water with some vinegar in the bathtub, then rinsed & put them in the washing machine with some baking soda-with wet wool dryer balls. Then put them in the dryer with the dryer balls. It made them softer and not scratchy. Read more
