It's been washed several times and still looks great with no distorted shape or pilling. It feels luxurious and soft and heavy, like cashmere. It's not super warm but great for layering. Since the material is thick, it holds it's shape very nicely. It's true to size. I wasn't looking for a particularly oversized fit for this type of sweater, so I got a medium.
