This dress is flattering. I like the sillhouette and how it supports me up top. It's true to size. I am 5'3" and it's a tiny bit longer than it is on the model, but not too long. It's very pretty and can be dressed up or down. I like the material and it feels very well made. However, the price is a little beyond me. It's an extremely nice dress, that price just seems a tad expensive. Read more

An easy care dress (with pockets!) that you can wear with flip flops on the beach or dress up with sandals and a light cardigan for dinner sounded perfect. Unfortunately after trying, this dress isn't for me. I had a few issues. (1) The racer back was a little too extreme, though to my surprise I did have a bra that worked with it. (2) The top ended and the skirt began a little too high up, around my ribs rather than my waist. (3) The bottom of the top part didn't hug my body leaving a gap between the dress and my waist. As far as sizing, I'd say the dress is true to size, however, please note that the sizing on Amazon is British sizing, meaning that if you normally wear a Small, you'll want to buy a Medium. If you wear a Medium, you'll want a Large, etc. Read more

This Sweaty Betty athletic dress is lightweight, comfortable, and flattering. The ribbed fabric has a nice texture that feels durable while still being soft and breathable. The racer back design gives it a sporty look and I see it more as a casual dress for everyday wear, but it could be dressed up with a cardigan or jacket. The fit is true to size and has a good amount of stretch without being clingy. It drapes nicely and works well for casual outings, especially in warm weather. It also washes well and keeps its shape without stretching out, and the fabric dries quickly which makes it practical for travel or summer use. The downside is the price. While it’s a nice dress, I don’t think it offers enough value to justify the high cost. Overall, this is a flattering and comfortable option if you’re looking for a sporty casual dress, but it does feel expensive for what you get. Read more

Well I wanted to be less impressed by this brand and dress (because for me it's quite expensive), but I love it! The fabric is thick without being too hot or heavy. It feels very nice without feeling too formal or fancy. It is a very very flattering fit I think. I LOVE that it has pockets. The bottom has some nice flow and movement to it. The fitted racerback top with the flowy skirt feels like just the right balance. I am 5'8" and 135lbs. I tend to wear size small tops and medium bottoms. For dresses I usually wear size small if they are long enough and flowy enough. Amazon sizing was telling me that I would be a size medium in this dress. I went with my instincts and ordered a small instead like I normally would and it fit perfectly! A size medium would have been too big, I think. So I would say trust your usual size and don't listen to the Amazon sizing on this one if it tells you to go up a size. CONS: I will say is that this dress promises to be wrinkle resistant and it definitely is not. It was quite wrinkled and creased out of the package and with washing the skirt always has a bit of wrinkling to it. I don't mind the slight wrinkling from the wash and I don't bother ironing, but the out of the package wrinkles were a bit much. I could also see some people being bothered but the wrinkling. Another con is that it can't be dried in the dryer. It's machine wash then hang to dry. I do kind of hate this as I am worried I'll mess it up and ruin it. It's currently my favorite dress, so I really don't want to mess it up. I wish it was safe for the dryer so I didn't need to worry. I imagine it would also not be wrinkled if I could dry it. Overall, it's a favorite of mine now and has washed beautifully. I wish it could be dried and it is very pricey for what I would normally buy. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth the price. Read more
