Skirt is pretty, and it’s a deep wine color with beautiful applique as depicted in the photos. I selected XL Plus based on the size chart showing a waist of 36.2 - 38.6 inches; my waist measures 37 inches with 42-inch hips. The garment has a slight bit of very thin elastic at the waist, and the waist measures 38.5 unstretched to 44 when stretched. The top edges of the underskirt and overlay are unfinished, and the fabric is fraying; I'll have to run a line of zigzag stitching to ensure it doesn't fray apart. Please see photos. Read more

The skirt absolutely fits beautifully plus size, friendly sheer with an under skirt, beautiful burgundy color. The sequins on the skirt are absolutely gorgeous. The length is just long enough to be modest, but not long. The style is fantastic. It has amazing stretch in the fabric. If you’re in between sizes definitely size down.
