What can I say, as a obese man weighing in over 400 lb, this chair holds well, feel sturdy, and has supported my weight greatly in my opinion. The height is perfect for my desk, allowing me to adjust it higher if I need it, the height adjustment feels sturdy as an auditor I used it would slowly go down even after adjustment. I bought this because I'm a bigger guy, not huge but about 6'2" 260 and have bad hips so I needed a seat on the higher side to stay comfortable. The seat adjustment is a great variety of height ranging from fairly low to almost too high (perfect!) and it seems rock solid, no noises or anything in the first few weeks of use. Very comfortable with the lumbar support, and not particularly hard to put together: looks like a nice office chair. Seat is significantly wider than average too, great for bigger people. Very comfortable, fantastic value, and solid construction. The armrest adjustments are... weird. I find them clicking into slightly different positions on the regular when I don't intend to do anything to them. It's nice to have the options, but the adjustment is a little too easy to make accidentally, otherwise this would be an EASY 5 star+ chair. You get used to it though. Read more
This is a very comfortable office chair that I am using in my classroom. Keep in mind it is very wide. I chose to get the heavier support chair (I'm 5'9" and weigh 220 lbs) because the hydraulic cylinder in my last chair did not seem to last long. I would rather have had a sturdy chair that would support weight but not be quite so wide. All in all, it was a good value for the money, and I've had no issues with the chair's operation in the 4 months I have been using it. This chair truly is heavy-duty. Cushion is double-wide and provides great support for somebody way larger than me (6'3", 240#). Construction materials are heavy-duty and super-durable. Assembly is quick and easy. Manufacturer includes simple directions and a handy wrench that fits all of the bolts required for assembly. They even include some replacement bolts in case you lose one. The chair is easy to adjust for height and the arm supports are firm, wide, and adjustable in every direction. The base is sturdy metal (not plastic) and it has large casters providing stability for easy and quiet rolling. The chair is attractive but it does look wide...because it is wide. I had this chair for a good 3 months and each wheel receiver bent inward. The base is made from the softest steel. If you a fat guy avoid this chair. It’s cheep and comfy at first but it’ll soon fail you. Read more
I just got this today, so I can't say yet how it lasts, but it is really sturdy! All the parts are steel and it's really heavy. I'm an old lady and I put most of it together by myself. I needed help getting the wheels on and putting the chair on its base. It is too heavy for me to pick up. It's really comfortable and has a lot of adjustments. It came a day early. I just wanted to let people know that it's easy to put together, but you might need some help. I also watched an unboxing video on YouTube. Revised: this is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever had. The lumbar support cannot be adjusted low enough for my back and I can't remove it. It's very stiff and hard.
