I have been adding a variety of resistance bands to my home for rehab exercises for my shoulder and arm. I mostly had open ended bands, so it was a slight learning curve to figure out how to use these closed loop bands appropriately (there are plenty of YouTube videos, if you need inspiration). As I'm still in pain when doing pretty much anything (frozen shoulder), these light bands have been the right resistance for me for now. As I get stronger, I'll need to look for something more substantial, but these are more than adequate for my purposes now. What do I like about these bands over free weights? For starters, they take up a lot less room, and are super lightweight and portable. I can literally throw these in a purse or suitcase and take them with me anywhere. They are also excellent for helping me to try to improve my range of motion in my shoulder, without any jarring movements. I also appreciate that the resistance weights are printed on them and are easily visible. Even once I am fully rehabbed, I can envision using these for assistance with stretches. They are just that versatile! Read more
I wasn't sure if I'd like these resistance bands since I've always used TPE (Thermal Plastic Elastomer) bands for pilates that are wider and thinner and can be cut to size. Also, these are a closed loop, so I wasn't sure how versatile they'd be. After using these bands a few times in pilates workouts, I am impressed with their strength, durability, and how easily I was able to adjust to using a skinnier band. At first, they were uncomfortable on my feet, but I simply had to place them in a. different position. The loop itself is big enough to account for a wider range of movement but I can also tie a tighter loop and it holds well. It's super convenient to have the weight range printed on the bands. Anyone can pick them up and know what resistance range they are working. All resistance bands, after heavy use over months and years will experience entropy and need to be replaced eventually but I seem to have an issue with my TPE bands ripping apart on me even when they are on the newer/fresher side. I don't see that happening with these bands. There is an adjustment/learning curve to a narrower, thicker band and loop, if like me, you are used to the other kind, but it feels fairly intuitive for an experienced band user. I will still use my TPE bands, but I'm happy with an adding these to the mix and using them often. Highly recommended. Read more

At first I wasn't sure I wanted bands that are closed loop, but I was able to do all the exercises that an instructor was doing with open bands except one, yet it was a lot easier for me to manage the resistance bands this way. These are clearly good quality and the resistance is even. I appreciate that the resistance is printed on the bands. Two quibbles--I'm not in love with the smell, but hey, it's something stretchy, it happens. The color of both bands is darker and more earthy than the web ad which makes them look bright pastel--these bands would be equally of interest to men (they are not pastel). The great thing about resistance bands is that there are so many videos online that use them, for all kinds of workouts from beginners up, including for bone strengthening. They are an inexpensive, easy-to-store way to get a decent workout without breaking the bank. I really like these. Read more
What drew me to these bands was the color, since a lot of pastel bands are on the pricier side. They're very sturdy and does not feel cheap which I really appreciate! Last thing you want is feeling your bands could break any second when exercising. Just two negatives for me is the smell and the residue feeling of them. I wiped my down with baby wipes but still feel a little weird, maybe just a personal texture thing. And the smell is just a little strong for me. But overall a great product to add for your exercise room. Read more
Good addition to my PT regiment. After a month of usage no signs of stretching for resistance. The women colors a bit of a distraction but I really don't take this out of my room so I do not care. Considering how many different exercises you can do with them, these light resistance bands are a really good investment to follow up on my PT, as heavier resistance or weights are not recommended. The color coding makes finding the right resistance a breeze. Actually, my significant other likes the colors and she might use them (unlikely) at a certain point. Read more
If you use bands for a workout, these are a good item to have in your workout bag. I've used therabands in the past, and was looking for something with a bit more resistance. Well, these have more resistance for sure, due to the thickness of the bands. These are different than therabands, but just as good once I adjusted my grip and got used to the new feel. The fact that they are loops is very helpful and lends itself to new exercises. I like that. The bands came well packaged and I love that they are marked with the resistance level. I love how compact these bands are ... just throw them into the workout bag and go. Two resistance levels is plenty. the thin one is pretty tight already, whether working arms or legs I'll definitely be using that one and will work up to the thicker one. Entirely recommended.
