Needed a new Office Desk Chair, as the one I had was in rough shape and started to fall apart. Decided to give this one a try, as it was also cheaper than what I could find, and seemed good enough for what I needed/wanted at the time. Let me just say, that this is one of the best cheaper Office Chairs I've ever had. It's actually pretty comfortable to sit in, the arms can be moved up and out of the way if they ever get in the way, and the back of the chair is sturdy and gives your back area some nice breathing "room." I hardly sweat in the chair, so that's a big improvement. Assembly was VERY simple. One of the easiest Assemblies I've had in chairs for a while now. It's aesthetics are basic, being a plain black chair. So nothing fancy, as far as appeal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good Office Desk Chair that also doesn't break the Bank. This was easy enough to assemble; it clear instructions, had all parts well organized and labeled, and came with an Alan Wrench to fit. However in the area where the back is connected to the seat, there was some misalignment between the screws and the threaded insert so it took a little bit of finagling to get everything to fit, but overall it was easy to assemble. It is hard enough to get the wheels to move the chair when I am sitting on it and the chair is on a tile floor. But it is almost impossible to move on my carpeted floor in the room where I intend to use it. It feels comfortable to sit on, but I wish the seat would go a tad bit higher and the back would have been taller. The manual lumbar device is a clever little addition that I have not seen before in a chair like this. Overall, I would rank it as an average office chair and I believe it is appropriately priced. I have needed a new office chair for many years and was putting it off until my old chair started hurting my back. I had been using a much larger high backed swivel and tilt chair that had arm rests that stuck up too high to slide under my keyboard shelf, forcing me to lean forward to better see the monitor. Decided now was the time to upgrade my chair and hopefully get closer to the monitor to see better. This KIZECK Swivel Mesh Ergonomic Office Computer Desk Chair is about 2/3 the size of my old chair which has been kicked to the curb. I can now easily slide under my desk keyboard and don't have to squint to see the monitor. Holy Cannoli, I can't believe I put up with that old chair for as long as I did. I have gained a substantial amount of floor real estate due to the smaller footprint of the five smaller legs compared to the beast of a chair I just discarded. I can easily roll this desk chair out of the way to sweep and tidy up my small office area floor, yea! Additionally, this chair has a built-in lumbar support that is oh-so comfortable to my back. Plus, the chair has just the right amount of tilt-back to enhance the sitting experience. I'm sitting in this NEW CHAIR as I type this review and can honestly say that this is a 100% IMPROVEMENT over the last uncomfortable chair I'm replacing. The desk chair came safely packed with zero damage and the entire act of assembly took less than 20 minutes. The instructions were very easy to follow and left no confusion as to how everything went together. I'm VERY PLEASED with this new computer desk chair.....why didn't I do this sooner!!! Read more
