They give off a nice (75W equivalent) warm glow. I like the white filament which is classy and compliments the clear glass. Again, there's something about its overall color that is better than a typical LED warm (2700) light but I can't put my finger on why it is - but, it IS. Read more

Nice and bright. We have frosted fan ceiling light fixtures so having frosted bulbs onto that took away 40% of brightness. These did the job and now have excellent lighting. No flickering either. Read more
These work well, very nice light. However, the base is a bit longer than the old incandescent, so trying to fit it in the fixture was not easy, since there is minimal clearance between the bulb and the glass diffuser covering on my fixture. Just FYI. Read more

Finally an LED bulb that got rid of what I call "the obvious ugly yellow filament" and the light glow itself is still the 2700k soft white!. Before these bulbs came out the only ones i seen that didn't have that ugly filament that was white didn't have soft white light when you tirned it on it was pure white light like in a retail store but these ones now have the white filament and turn on classic soft white 2700k with the slight yellowish tint. Now these finally look way better turned off and blend in with whatever you have them installed in and you dont have an obvious ugly yellow filament inside an all clear glass bulb. I'm disappointed with the name Sylvania that it's dimming capabilities didn't work at all so it's getting 3 stars because of its dimming didn't do anything from one end to the other. I had to change the bulb with another LED out of a lamp to make sure the dimmer wasn't broken and it worked fine. If you not trying to use these on a dimmer and want to get beautiful looking bulbs with the ugly yellow filament gone this would be highly recommend. Even though i bought them to replace a light on a dimmer and the dimming didn't work I'm not sending them back because I can still use them in other places. I changed the 40 watt refrigerator bulb with this 3.5 watt one and it works great. Read more
