This is an update to my previous review. After being contacted from higher level support, I was sent a replacement tv. Got it mounted and it works great. Guess I got a defective unit. Huge shout out to Leah and Leeke for taking the time to address my issue. Previous review: Picture is outstanding and very bright. My only issue is when in direct sunlight (with 80 degree temps) it seems to overheat and the screen goes very dark. The sound is still on. I have to unplug it and put it in the shade for 15-20 minutes then it’ll work for another 30 minutes. I put a pool umbrella over it to shade it and it works fine. This is not why I bought it. Contacted support several times, but was told that was just the nature of the tv and good luck. Don’t advertise it as DIRECT SUNLIGHT if it fails in DIRECT SUNLIGHT. My $300 Vizio worked this well for $2000 less. Read more

After a couple of weeks my TV turned on but didn't display any picture. The TV probably got knocked around during shipping and finally gave out shortly after setup. I did purchase an extra warranty through Amazon just in case! I went straight to Sylvox instead of Amazon just so they could be aware of the issue. They corresponded swiftly and I had a replacement within 2 weeks. They also provided a return label and I reused the box the new one came in. The TV uses Android/Google TV so all of the apps we currently use in the house are available. At one point, one app wouldn't download "app not available for current version of your software" or something similar. Just restart the TV and try again that seemed to fix it. The remote works well and was easy to connect via the initial TV setup menu. The TV menus are responsive and snappy. Bluetooth and wifi setup were both seamless. You can also connect it to a BT speaker, but keeping it connected all the times seems tricky. It's probably a fight between the BT speaker and the TV and a few other devices as well. The box also comes with a variety of mounting bolts if needed. A wall mount is NOT included. However, the mount you buy separately will also come with some bolts. The TV's enclosure is solid and quiet. The original TV I bought on Amazon had a loud fan noise, but this replacement unit directly from Sylvox is completely quiet. They said they had updated the design and removed the fan noise entirely, GOOD MOVE. My original purchase from Amazon didn't have any physical buttons (that I could find) to operate the TV. This replacement from Sylvox has a set of buttons on the side in case you cannot use the remote. The audio leaves a bit to be desired, but I find the MEDIA setting to have a good balance between speech and base. More often than not, you will use your own independent speaker, but it's not horrible otherwise. Keep in mind that the sounds is enclosed in the case so don't expect living room quality. Overall, we like the vividness of the display mid day sun on our pool deck. The warranty process was a breeze. Read more

If you need an actual outdoor rated TV, this is a great value. It arrived with great packaging which was surprisingly easy to unbox. TV is very solid and has a very bright picture even for a partial sun model. NOTE: We have it in a covered screened in porch and it works great. No issues with heat/cold. We did have a problem with the remote when it arrived, but Sylvox support was very responsive, quickly did some troubleshooting, and then immediately shipped out a replacement remote which paired and worked perfectly. I would highly recommend it for the quality product and outstanding and responsive support which doesn't seem to be common anymore. Read more

This TV is terrible! Plugged it in, set it up, put on a show and at first, it kept pausing then the screen went black. I am boxing this crap back up and sending it back. Read more

I wasn't familiar with Sylvox but it's a name I won't forget now. After doing some research in outdoor TVs. The size, NITs, and QLED factors all led to me purchasing this unit. I can't be more pleased with the picture quality. As with most TVs the sound is best when paired with a sound bar. I give it four stars across the board. The overall score is 5 stars, and that's because of the customer service. In a word, stellar. Firstly, my puppy got to the remote so that was a wrap. I called and let them know exactly what happened, and they still replaced my remote, free of cost. Secondly, and most importantly, my unit sustained some water damage and was no longer operational. Suffice it to say... please still purchase a TV cover even though the unit is waterproof. Again, Kiko, Leeke, and the Sylvox customer team ensured I received a replacement unit at no cost. Can't speak high enough about my experience. Well recommend this company and product. Read more

Bought a Sylox 65" Poolpro QLED. Confirmed on delivery by Amazon that the TV worked and then I mounted it outdoors for use by the pool. It worked for about a week and then the TV no longer would turn on. Contacted Sylvox support by email and received a reply within 24h from them. Now we did go round and round for several emails while I tried to confirm with them that the TV was no longer functioning (I consider this a bit of a product design issue which is it can only be controlled via remote there are no external controls on the TV itself) and that the problem was not with the remote or something I was doing wrong. Eventually we came to the alignment the TV was defective. I did not have the original packaging so Sylvox agreed to first ship me a replacement unit and then I returned the defective TV. They shipped it promptly and after its several day cross-country trip via UPS I had a replacement that is working and my family is enjoying. Read more
