I think this will hold up for a very long time. That's a 140 lbs fella. We had to replace a bed he's had since he was a pup ( he's 7 ). He spent the evening testing it out and kept returning. Now it's 10:30, he's asleep and happy as a clam. As you can see, the bed is thick. My sofa legs are 7 inches tall and the bed is taller. It is very well made and comfortable. My husband laid on it and announced, "It's almost as nice as our bed!". Completely worth the money if you have a giant pupper like our Archie. *Update*. It's been almost a year and it's still in perfect shape. Archie and Tulip (my Australian cattle dog) both fit on it together. They love a good cuddle there. Anyways I digress, my mother is having hip replacement surgery and needs a place for her 4 Chihuahuas to chill while she recovers (they are usually stuck to her hip, lol). I decided we should put a baby gate in the hallway and I bought this bed for them because I knew they will be MORE than comfortable and off the cold floor while she recovers. My point is, if you have big to giant puppers or multiple small, I haven't found better for the money. Read more

Worth the money. We've been through at least 10-15 dog beds over the years, having 2 big 70ish pound pit bulls. This bed is expensive but worth it. Very sturdy, it's essentially a mini memory foam mattress that's human-grade. This is the dog bed that finally got my dog off my bed at night- he will sleep on this instead of my bed, HUGE WIN. This bed does not sag or break down over time with use. I was relieved to see the quality when I opened it. Very thick, heavy, durable. It's pricey but totally worth the investment after spending too much money on cheaper egg-crate type foam beds or beds made of chopped up foam. Especially recommend for older dogs who need a soft but sturdy place to nap and sleep at night. Read more

This thing doesn't disappoint, our 85lb Pyrenees loves it. The material is pretty ruggest, side piping that hides stitching doesn't encourage chewing, and the memory foam is still but yields just enough to provide comfort without the dog sinking in far. The material WILL hold onto debris like leaf clippings and fur, so be wary of that. Read more

Exactly what we needed. Very thick and exactly as described. The XXL is perfect for our Great Pyrenees mix. So glad that it's truly a 7" loft. Great quality cover too! Read more

Great dog bed. My husky mix is 85-90lbs and he doesn’t sink at all, the firmness is great. It’s the perfect size for him. There’s no weird smell from the packaging either. I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know how it’ll do with dog hair but the cover looks easy to lint roll clean. I’m planning on buying a cover but for now there’s a sheet on top. Read more

My 120lb Great Dane loves this bed. It is plenty firm for her and plenty of room for her to lay on it several different ways. The cover is washable and easily removable. It has an additional liner inside that is also removable to protect the foam from water. I would recommend this for a dog that was even bigger than 120 lbs. Read more

Amazed by the quality of this bed so far. Bought for 145lb Great Dane and his body weight barely dents the foam. It offers great support. In this price range you can't go wrong. I was looking at beds twice the price on chewy and know they could never be as nice as this. Read more
