Warm amber glow with a pretty filament design
These bulbs are more about atmosphere than raw light, and they do it really well. The amber tint and visible filaments make them look great in open fixtures, and the 2200K color temperature gives off that cozy, vintage glow. They’re the kind of bulbs you want in a decorative lamp, not something you rely on to light up a whole room. Measurements: - Power draw: 5.4W - Brightness: 375 lumen (lower than the advertised 550, but not surprising for this type of bulb) - Efficiency: about 40% less than a typical LED, but still miles ahead of incandescent They’re dimmer and less efficient than most modern LEDs, but I don’t really hold that against them. At this color temperature it’s hard to measure accurately anyway, and for a decorative bulb efficiency isn’t the point. Read more
