A very nice lamp that provides a great deal of light. The lamp plugs into a light socket and this connects with an Alexa smart plug. (Some lamps I have purchased recently must plugged into an adapter and will not connect with my smart plug.) This lamp has a off/on switch. I first used a 60 watt bulb with 800 lumens. Too bright a light for the bedroom. I am now using a 400 lumen, 60 watt bulb and this still provides ample light. I am impressed with construction of the lamp. While light weight, it does not have the cheap, ``plasticky'' feel of other recent purchases. I'm still looking for sturdy desk lamps that provide excellent lighting. I will look at this manufacturer to see what it provides. In sum, I very pleased with design, price and light this lamp provides. Read more

Love this little lamp! I got it with the black shade, and it’s small and has the cord button to turn on. Very easy to use and no need to stretch out of bed to turn off the light. If you have a small side table or would like to have lighting that doesn’t take up much room, this is the one to get. I put it on my nightstand, which is small, and this lamp leaves plenty of room for everything else. Brightness will depend on the type of bulb and wattage you choose, but it does light up a room pretty well. Definitely recommend it! Read more
