I got this mainly to use with my Z Fold, and it’s surprisingly hard to find a stand that actually works well with the size of this phone. This one fits perfectly using the tablet holder, which was a big win for me. I really like that it comes with two clamp options , one for phones and one for tablets, so it feels very versatile depending on what device you’re using. Setup was quick and easy with no tools needed. The clamp expands nice and wide when needed, and the different height and angle adjustments make it easy to get a comfortable viewing position whether I’m using it in bed or at my desk. It wobbles from side to side a bit, but if you don’t touch the holder, it works OK. I’ve been having wrist problems from holding my iphone too much so this helped alleviate the pain. I think this holder would work better on a firmer bed because it worked better on the kitchen countertop than on my bed. My bed isn’t that soft, but it’s not super firm either. I think if I had a reading tablet with a remote control, I can just use the remote control to turn the pages and this holder would work great. The height is adjustable so that was a plus. I like that it can be folded to put away in the closet. It comes with 360 degree rotating clamps so I can change the angles. The edges are smooth and didn’t snag any fabric on the bed comforters. I’m pretty disappointed in this product. It functions OK on a flat surface like a table, but it struggles to hold heavier tablets at the angle I want. The clamps rely on friction so you have to screw them down tightly. It could handle my Kindle and my wife’s iPad, but my TCL Nxtpaper 11 was too much for it. It didn’t fall out, but it would droop down. One trick I found is that I can position the empty phone mount behind a tablet to help support it. The mounts are spring loaded and work alright, but the softer, folio/pen case on the TCL tablet made it less secure. What’s worse, the stand wouldn’t stay upright in bed. The weight of a tablet made it want to fall forward. The feet aren’t wide enough for the uneven surface of the mattress and blankets. Maybe if you have a very firm mattress? I wish I could angle the legs to counter balance it. I had to hold the stand with one hand to keep it from falling over. If you want to lay flat and look up, it will probably work, but it’s not very effective for a more upright position–definitely room for improvement. Read more

Need stable bottom to support not falling over. 1. Assembly - The instructions for assembling are on the outside of the box. They have instructions for the first part of the stand. But for the clamps, there were not instructions for this area. Not hard to figure out though. 2. Quality - If you tighten the stand, it stands stable as long as there is a flat bottom. However, it is all about that flat bottom which a bed does not have. Every single time moved on the bed, it crashed again more and more stuff. 3. Easy to use gadget for relaxing evening sessions. usually I am struggling to find a way to prop up my phone when i just want to stream a movie at night. Phone falls over or slowly slides down the pillow which gets on my nerves. This simple to use stand lets me view at a nice angle as I naturally relax my head on the pillow. The clamps are easy to use as the phone and my mini tablet just pop right into the spring loaded clamps. I can easily reach around and turn the knob to loosen and tighten the holder for the correct angle. The base has legs that extend out enough to keep it upright and stable. The unit has enough adjustments to be a flexile fit for both the bed or desk. When I'm done its light enough for me to easily pick it up and place it to the side with zero struggles. The media could not be loaded. I spend my evenings in bed scrolling on my phone until I fall asleep so I ordered this to hold my tablet or phone when my arm or wrist start to give me issues. I have an adjustable bed and the stand doesn't stand securely while the mattress is folded upward, I have to throw my heavy blanket on the feet to get it to stay put. At first, the weight of my tablet was too much and it kept sliding down but I figured out that if I tighten the screw tilted upward, the tablet stays in place without the need to over tighten. I've decided to use this in my kitchen where I stream videos while I cook or bake. The width is adjustable which helps keep my work area clear. Now that I don't have to keep my tablet on the counter, I have more workspace. I also record videos while I cook or bake, having the ability to also attach my phone to the stand allows me to record hands free and mirror the image to my tablet which makes it easy for me to see what's in frame. This might work better on flat beds but it works great on a flat hard surface, the design is good because you can adjust the width to your needs. Assembly is easy and the quality is fair, I do wish the pieces that tighten the grip were not all plastic because I've had products with this type of screw mechanism and they always end up breaking. All in all, I'm really happy with this stand. Even though it didn't work out for me to use in bed, it certainly has provided a huge benefit in my kitchen. Read more
