Only had it for 1 day. It's been washed and hung dried. Feels much better to the touch after laundering. Warm and comfy. Good weight to it. Seems true to size. Not sure about "winter" use - at where I live. It gets pretty darn cold here). Pockets are a big plus as I use it in a surgical environment. My only complaint (and this is my fault, I didn't thoroughly read the description) would be the washing instruction- "machine wash, gentle. To not tumble dry". I am so impressed with the quality of this jacket, especially at this price point. It's well made, has some weight to it, and fits me like a glove.
