I would just like to start off by saying that this jacket fits well and there are some reviews that I have read giving it a low amount of stars and saying that the pockets aren't real. Perhaps they got a defective jacket but all of the pockets on mine are functional and real. It is pretty durable and water seems to bead off of it although I imagine like anything water will get through eventually especially if you're swimming with it. The fleece interior is very warm and comfortable. I see in other reviews as well that they mentioned the zipper is on the "wrong" side. The zipper mechanism is on the left hand side instead of the right hand side which really doesn't matter to me it functions I am not concerned with zipper etiquette. Some people are led to believe that this is a woman's jacket because the zipper is on the left, well I've seen soft shell jackets for women as I bought some for my partner and they are usually pleated around the upper chest and armpit area to allow room for breasts. This jacket is not pleated in such a way so I would say that's wrong. Although women can wear the jacket I'm just saying it does not possess that pleat that allows extra room for lady parts I would love if this had an attachable Hood as it does not the hood is permanently attached but can be rolled away although I'm not sure why you would want to anyway but you can you have options. That does not detract from the quality of the jacket in any way as it is not stated as having a removable Hood so there's no reason to deduct a star for that. This jacket will keep you warm it will keep you protected and it looks good. It's true to size as far as I can say and the material is satisfactory. It does have pull cords within to adjust the fit of the jacket as well as the hood and in other reviews I have taken note that they report their jacket not having retention clasps for the chords but mine does. Again I don't know if they got it defective jacket or if this jacket has changed and the company has fixed the issues. But that being said my jacket is complete and it has everything the bad reviews say it does not so quite happy with it. Read more

This is a great jacket. When you get this jacket you will think it might be a little thin, but it does its job. I like the style of this jacket. I it looks pretty cool. This jacket will do a great job protecting you from the elements. It completely holds the wind and rain out. I've had this jacket on during wind and rain and it has not failed where others have. I recommend this jacket to anyone. The hood is large enough that the rain will not hit you in the face even in high winds. It seems to be correct in sizing. Bummed I can’t give it a five star. ‘Water resistant’ and ‘keep you dry’ are both in the description. - Tested for two hours in the pouring rain, only things that are wet are the up facing parts. - it’s a more snug fit, but comfortable. I like the jacket. Just need to spray some Teflon on it. - This is not a waterproof jacket, just to be clear. If I was in the woods under a canopy cover, I’d be comfortable in it. If I was out in the open consistently, I be concerned. I am gonna keep it. I do like it. Just bummed that it’s not as water resilient, as I was hoping. -so take away: it looks great. It fits well. It’s a tight fit. It’s warm and has lots of pockets. Anything outside of a leisure rain exposure you’re gonna get wet. The water beads until it becomes water soluble. - Take into account This was a torrential downpour. - This comes from somebody that literally lives in the mountain at 4000 feet and goes up to 8500 feet daily. This is a very nice jacket that is about one tenth of the price of comparable boutique jackets with names that I can't pronounce. It is made of very nice material. The zippers, of which there are many, work well and seem durable. There are many pockets that are of generous size. It is super comfortable and is also very warm. Almost too warm. I normally wear a large and that is what I ordered. It was a little too snug across my shoulders so I sent it back and go an XL which might be a tad big but is very comfortable. Read more

I want to say this jackets great cause I recommended it to some people. But there is definitely a few issues. This is all coming from a guy who does winter survival activities in New England where it can get below 0 at times. First off I'll just come out and say it, there are better jackets out there. Pretty much the only thing this has going for it is it looks cool. Other than that, it's not "water proof" it's more "water resistant". It's not that warm either, it's more of like a thin plastic tarp than having any actual insulation. It’s a good coat. Definitely would recommend wearing a hoodie underneath it. It’s not really thick thick but the material on the outside breaks the wind really well. There’s a little bit too many zippers on it. I really don’t use half of them, but it worked really well on the rain as well. Feels like a good quality like it will last a while. Read more
