These Tafts Bamboo sheets are my preferred summer sheet sets. They are soft and naturally feel cool to the touch, so they feel great to sleep on. I do not like sleeping the with the AC on and open the windows no matter how hot it may be outside. I got my first pair as a deal from some program and had to get more. Of course, they are not air conditioned sheets so you can get warm over time, but the cool touch of the sheets does not go away. They fit the deep corner pockets of my bed, but honestly I run a seam down the center as I like my fitted sheets to fit tight, even after several nights of sleeping on them. I've been using bamboo sheets for quite some time and always feel like I am better off bringing my own sheets to a hotel because they never can compare. Bamboo sheets are literally the best, IMO. Now, sometimes sheet quality can vary. Although the sheets can feel comfortable, cool and soft, they may not fit the best, wrinkle up terribly or pile up in the middle due to a bad fit. I own a few like that. These sheets, I feel, are probably the best bamboo sheets I own or have ever slept on. Very soft, comfortable, cool and they stay tight through the night and do not pile or wrinkle (so far). They fit great on my Purple mattress and have not had to be readjusted again in the morning. Maybe the only thing I would complain about is how silky smooth they are. This is not a bad thing, but my blankets do tend to slide on the sheets more than normal! I had owned a set of silk sheets many years ago and these remind me - a little - of those, because I would literally lose my pillow through the night or the blankets because everything would slide off them. These are not quite so bad, but I see the potential. Thankfully, it's not a serious issue and I've only had to readjust the comforter once in the three nights I've slept on them. The biggest take away is that I am very please with these sheets and don't want to get out of bed in the morning because of how wonderful they feel. In a previous lifetime I had a fitted sheet that was so tight on my mattress, it was difficult to get on. But it was worth the effort. I love lying on a sheet that is tight and smooth with no chance of bunching up. Decades later I am still looking for such a sheet. That was one of Taft’s promises — that the bottom sheet would "not bunch up with 360 degree elastic”. Well, maybe it’s not bad on a very deep mattress, but I am here to tell you that if you have a regular 12” mattress, this fitted sheet is TERRIBLE at staying in place. Look at my photograph as proof. It’s probably the illest-fitting bottom sheet I have ever had and I am deeply disappointed, not to mention annoyed. Having said that, I like the sheets in every other way. They indeed have a lovely, silky feel to them and during hot summer nights they are going to keep me cool. The pillowcases are well designed with an envelope feature I like. I chose cool white which I hope will stay bright as these sheets must be washed in cold water. Hot water is better at keeping sheets white, but I want them to last. They wrinkle, but natural fabrics always do. You can’t have everything. Because of the bunching-up issue, I would prefer to return them.... but having slept on them, this would be impossible so I will try to concentrate on how lovely the fabric feels. I would recommend Taft sheets only to people who have very deep mattresses — or to those who don’t care about the bottom sheet staying in place. Read more

This is my 2nd set and well worth the money. They've held up very well. If you're a hot sleeper and sweat a lot, I recommend washing them weekly as sweat stains can be very hard to get out. Other than that these fit a queen perfectly and feel amazing Read more
