Original Review April 2019: I love this owl light in my garden. It is beautiful and the lights have worked despite lots of storms and rain. I cannot speak for the longevity of this item as I have had it less than a month though. The lights are bright (but not too bright) and the owl is super cute. I would purchase again. Looks like the pictures, no issues with shipping or damage. Updated Review Feb 2020: Almost 1 year later and the owl still works great. It has been through a hot summer, lots of storms, etc. and is still fine. The lights don't last super super long into the night or anything, but I didn't expect them to last a full night's worth. I ordered this solar lighted owl for inclusion in the area surrounding my pond in the backyard. It was easy to assemble, looks exactly as shown and the perfect height for just behind the waterfall so the support does not show and it looks as though the owl is perched on the waterfall. I placed it, turned it on and six hours later when the sun set, I had bright lights. My headline pretty well says it all. This is a cute little garden decoration and very easy to assemble (if you call it assembly; you just 'screw' the three pieces of rod together). What I like most about it is the height - just the height I was looking for. I gave four stars for brightness, but unless you are buying it to literally light up an area, the brightness is just right. I can't really speak to how long a full charge lasts as I have it where at best it gets half a day of sun, but it lasts long enough for me. One reviewer said that from a distance at night you can't tell it's an owl; I don't know what distance was meant, but I can tell from 15-20 feet away what it is. Read more
I've purchased several landscape solar lights recently and I loved the look of the owl. Only problem was he would only burn for a short while and then go off -- maybe back on a little later and maybe not. I returned it and got a replacement still hoping for a working product. Not much to say about it, it looks just like the pictures, the stake feels secure enough to protect it from moderate wind. The owl also is of a decent enough quality I don’t fear a replacement needed anytime soon. The lights work just fine, I wish there were a couple more lights so the figure would be more evident at night, but it’s not bad. I would recommend it and even buy another if it breaks. Just got it so I can’t speak as to how long the lights will last, but I know it stayed lit the first few night until sunrise, longer than expected actually. Read more
