I have Takeya's older version spout version and like it, but I love their new version! I accidentally ordered the straw and thought I wouldn't enjoy it (have had other brands and always had issues) but they perfected the straw in this bottel. It's angled so you get a nice, even flow of water. The spout is easy to open (and not the screw top from spout, which takes more effort to open). I also really like how streamlined the new models is, as they have integrated the silicon bottom beautifully, so no longer a need to remove it for tight spots. In addition, my water stays colder longer than the old bottle. Finally, the overall appearance and usability give this water bottle 5 stars. Read more

I owned an earlier version of this cup and brand years ago. When it was time to replace I just bought a cheaper $25 off brand. Takeya really is superior when it comes to insulating there cups! I love my water ice cold. The cheaper brands will have a large cup like this melt the ice within 7-8 hours. Takeya is so well insulated that you can put 3-4 ice cube trays in the cup and it won’t melt for days even with 3-4 water refills! I will never again stray from this brand! These cups say they can also be used for hot beverages. I’ve never tried it but I would assume it it works this well with ice water it would work just as well for hot drinks! Read more
