Great Chair — Comfortable and Easy to Put Together I’m really happy with this chair. The quality is great, and it looks even better in person. The mesh back is breathable and supportive, and the seat is very comfortable for long hours of work. Putting it together was super easy. The instructions were clear, all the parts were organized, and everything fit perfectly. The chair feels strong and stable once assembled. I really like the adjustable height, smooth wheels, and the foot ring, which makes it great for higher desks. The armrests are comfortable, and the chair gives good support for posture. Overall, it’s a stylish, comfortable, and well-built chair for a good price. If you need an office or drafting chair that’s easy to set up and very comfortable, I highly recommend it. Read more

I’m really happy with this drafting chair! It’s comfortable, supportive, and the height is perfect for my taller desk. The foot ring makes a big difference it gives you a place to rest your feet so you don’t get tired while sitting for long periods. The seat cushion is soft, the back support feels great, and it swivels smoothly. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy once put together. Such a good chair for crafting, drawing, or working at a standing-height desk! Read more

I recently got the Kensaker Tall Drafting Chair with Footrest Ring and I’m genuinely impressed — the lumbar support and breathable mesh back make a noticeable difference after long hours at my studio desk. The flip-up armrests are a clever touch: when I’m sketching or leaning in close, they move out of the way easily. The height adjustment and the round foot-ring let me set it up just right for my drafting table, keeping my feet comfortable and reducing strain on my legs. Assembly was straightforward (took me about 20 minutes) and I love that the seat cushion resists fatigue and stays firm instead of sagging. Overall, this chair feels like a big upgrade and gives me the support and flexibility I needed for my home workspace. Read more

Easy to assemble, very comfortable and sturdy. But, I wish it was a little taller. It doesn't seem like many companies make really tall standing desk chairs. My standing desk isn't adjustable. It's either standing height or sitting height, soooo. Also, the adjustable footrest sucks. It's going to fall every day or two and you're going to constantly be putting it back into place. I wish that it had holes that it screwed into so that it was still adjustable, but not completely dependent on pressure. Read more

You Get What You Pay For...Typically Speaking, -Right? So that is where we precisely are with this "Kensaker" chair. It reflects the value of its price in 2024. This "Kensaker" chair yields ultra clear Instructions and it's 'Very Easy' to assemble in <20 minutes. I had a "Global® 8977 Drafting Chair" for over thirty years to this date; Rock Solid Stability, Seated Hours of Ergonomic Comfort, a lovely beast with profound bottom and back cushion support. My brother and I labeled it "World's Greatest Chair!" However, I had left it within a damp basement for an extended period and, along with some other items, it became infected with minor mildew spores. 'Overly cautious about spore migration, it had to go and I needed a replacement. 30+ years later my $69 {Staples} "Global 8977" is now $230-$330. I just couldn't justify the cost of a new "Global 8977" since my chair usage has become less frequent. Thus, arrives this "Kensaker Drafting Chair" purchase: You can feel the instability immediately upon seating -it appears safe, mind you; but, if you make a movement, you feel more than your body moving. The positions of the bottom and back feel slightly awkward and poorly proportional to accommodate support and any extended duration of seated usage. I immediately missed my "Global 8977" ; but, this "Kensaker" will do the minimal seated work currently required. Overall, it seems like a normal sized desk chair that's been elevated to greater heights; but, without the consideration of what that extra height requires to provide a stable, comfortable unit. I like the movable armrests and the added footrest ring. However, upon positioning my feet, I can feel the chair wobble a bit and, upon seating myself, I can always feel the pneumatic post decrease 1-2". Lastly, I am within the load bearing weight of the chair, at 190lbs / 5'9". I feel a fair price for this chair would be reasonable at around $79.00, and not the asking $109 -$129. But, I'll be keeping the chair and crossing my fingers, as it'll be too much of a hassle to deal with a return. All that being said, upon observing the current field of similarly priced, cookie-cutter designed, and similar material type [plastic not metal] drafting chairs, it does appear to be the best value of the Amazon bunch. It is 2024 and not the 90's, and you will get what you pay for, just not the "World's Greatest Chair!" Read more

Good chair. It’s comfortable, sturdy, and my back doesn’t get tired at all. The wheels move smoothly, and the armrests are super handy you can even lift them up if you want. At first the chair felt a bit high, but actually I ended up liking it even more that way. Great chair Read more
