I ordered a pair of these Tallemon trousers for my grandson's birthday. He is working a summer internship this summer where being dressed nicely is important to him. On a student budget that can create an obstacle, especially since he is 6'4" tall and very slender. He always encounters a lot of 'No Fit's with his 30" waist. Tallemon to the rescue! The Khaki which he requested wasn't available any longer so we went with the Dark Grey color in a 30W/ 34 Inseam. These fit him great and I have included some measurements to assist you in understanding size differences where we found them. Just in case those make a difference for you. These trousers are very soft and have a silky feel to them. I attribute that to the fiber blend which includes polyester, rayon and Elastane for stretch in all directions. These have a tight weave which will help ensure that they survive daily wearing without any difficulty. They can be washed and dried but not dry cleaned. These are listed as a straight leg but have a little taper to them, with the bottom leg opening measuring 14 inches. The 30 inch waist was exactly that, while the 34 inch inseam measured out at just over 33 inches. These are designed as a mid-rise so fit comfortably low on your waist with the belt comfortable but a bit below the natural waist. Total pant length is 44 inches total for the taller men among us. These trouser fabrics pieces and linings are joined with fine stitching and all exposed seam edges are overcast to prevent fraying. The pant front has a button closure with a zipper fly. The zipper seems a bit shorter than I normally prefer but works smootly. The belt loops will accommodate a 1 inch belt when desired. The two front pockets are a normal depth for dress trousers and the two back pockets are sufficiently deep to hold a wallet or a phone, if that is where you need them to be. I am glad that we located these trousers for my grandson's birthday. They will provide him a comfortable and great looking pant for these upcoming summer months. Read more
My review is for the Tall Men 34/36/38 Inseam Dress Pants, Classic Fit, Straight-Leg, Business-Casual Slacks, Formal Office Work Trousers. I ordered a 34" x 34" in Khaki, and right out of the package, the material feels nice. Most of the clothing I receive online arrives in a vacuum-packed bag, and so was this one. However, it was only slightly wrinkled and looked almost ready to wear. (Everything needs a first wash to get it ready.) * The fit: The 34” x 34” cut was spot on. * Material: This is where it was very different from most dress pants. The material was soft and lightweight, almost silky. It is very easy to move and flex in these pants. * Weight: Lightweight * Pattern: No pattern, just a solid color * Color: As advertised, Khaki, and it looks like the pictures with no deviation. These pants feel more comfortable, like golf pants or athletic wear, than men's dress pants. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. My review pictures include the product in its original packaging, opened, and show it from the front, side, and back. Read more
I am 6'4" and 180 lbs. so I have traditionally tried to buy 32x36 pants, which are often hard to find. With the newer fashion pants are shorter than they were a few decades ago, so I can sometimes get away with 32x34. I ordered the 32/34 here since they also have the longer rise and the sizing guide. They are plenty long, quite a big longer than some other 34" pants I get through normal channels. I have mixed feelings about the longer rise, on the one hand it give me a more room on comfort in the crotch area, especially when sitting, but when walking the crotch feels a little low, like I am sagging. The pants are well finished with no stray thread ends or the like. The fabric is thin and cool with significant stretch, which is really helps with comfort. The pockets are the normal dress pant style where the opening is vertical vs. horizontal. The price is good for a hard to find size. Read more
These are great dress pants, especially if you need a longer inseam. The material is lightweight and good quality, which makes them comfortable to wear all day. The blue color is even better in person. They fit well, stay in place comfortably, and have a clean, classic look that works well for business casual or office wear. Overall, I am very happy with them. Of note, while a previous review commented on the pockets being thin, that is actually true. However, lightweight spring/ summer pants are generally not made to hold thick wallets and keys, so I do not see this as a disadvantage for this particular pair of pants. I recommend them and would definitely buy again. Read more
I'm a tall guy, so when I saw this pair of dress pants in navy blue, I really wanted to give them a shot since I don't have any in that color. I was immediately impressed with the fit around the waist and down the legs. It was very slimming for me and over all looked good, but just good. Below the felt the fly sticks out a little bit, especially if its a little tighter around the waist. What I don't like about it is the material. It is thin, very thin, but that's probably what keeps it so reasonably priced. I would never be able to wear these on a cool or cold day because I would probably freeze, but on a warm day they'd be fine. I wouldn't wear this to a wedding or anything very formal, but maybe something more semi formal or an occasion where a tie isn't necessary. While this is a great value and fits well enough, it's not something I would take to a job interview. Read more
