Depends on what you are using for. If using to wash car or to use in a 5 gallon bucket for short periods works great.. Now if you want to create a Bokashi than you might want to trim side a bit or do not compress too much. You will not damage the grill but it will break the bucket. Read more

Between two cars and one RV, I do a lot of cleaning. I think these help let the dirt settle to the bottom of the bucket and keep the dirt off the rags.
