Great moisturizer
Not sure about sunscreen working well. I gave this a high rating though because it is a fantastic moisturizer. No scent and very light weight. Very effective for aging skin. Read more

False SPF advertising…not safe for sun protection
I purchased this product because it was advertised as SPF 50, but after inspecting the ingredients, I found it only contains Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) — a single UVB filter. There are no other recognized sunscreen agents (like zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, or additional chemical filters) that would justify such a high SPF rating. This product may offer minimal UVB protection at best, and likely no UVA protection, making it UNSAFE to rely on for sun protection. I suspect this SPF 50 claim is false or misleading, nowhere on the package does it actually state this, HOWEVER it is advertised on Amazon as such. I would not recommend this product if you’re looking for genuine sun protection. Read more

Not as efficient a sunscreen as it’s advertised
A nice moisturizer but very minimal sunscreen protection. I put this on my arms, legs , face and ears before mowing my lawn. I mowed on my tractor for about 2 hours and definitely got a mild sunburn on my arms. It moisturized well and I used it after to treat my skin where it hit too much sun. It goes on sort of greasy but fades in after a bit. I like the idea of it being beef tallow rather than a ton of other ingredients. Read more
Effective
I'm not a huge fan of sunscreen and avoid it when I can, but I'm a vendor at a farmer's market (outdoor) during the summer and burn if I don't wear sun protection. I feel a lot better about using this product than traditional sunscreens and it works well. I apply a little to my shoulders on market days and no longer burn. Read more
Goes on Smooth and Weightless!
This tallow sunscreen by Melao goes on so smooth, feels weightless, and has no scent. I absolutely love this for my face and arms. This is great for sensitive skin. It doesn't feel greasy after you rub it on, and it is not overly thick. I did not burn after using it and reapplying every few hours. I really like this, and will highly recommend it!
