As a physical therapist I try to wear barefoot shoes as much as possible. They are a lot better for your feet so you are less likely to develop bunions, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, etc. While barefoot shoes are becoming a lot more common, I haven't seen a lot of warm winter barefoot shoes. These shoes are really nice. The wide toe box and zero drop are great for foot health. They are very lightweight and comfortable to walk in. The fur lining is very soft and warm. The rubber sole doesn't slip easily, but the tread is not very rugged, so I wouldn't try to climb steep hills in these. They are water resistant, which is nice for not getting rain or melting snow soaking through them. There are really cute booties, the size 8.5 fit great. The wider toe area really is nice for my ever selling toes. They look weird with the wider toe area but it's nice and thar extra room makes the boots even more comfy. They don't have a great deal of support but they didn't hurt my feet when I wore them for an 8 hour shift on my feet. It was also a snowy day and my feet stayed pretty warm when I was outside. My feet didn't get wet either. These are sturdier than they look and are a nice boot. They are not for deep snow at all but were okay for a mild snow day. I'd order again, they're a decent price. I received the winter snow boots in the mail from UPS today. I was surprised that they were not boxed, but arrived in just the plastic shipping envelope. That being said, the package arrived without any damage and the shoes were better than I expected. I got all black shoes in size 11 wide. They fit perfectly. I liked that they were wide as they are comfortable in regular socks or the heavier socks you wear during the winter. I also liked that they had soles with good, non-slip traction. It is mentioned that it is lined with fur, but it is actually velvet. I really liked this as it would also help with warmth during the winter. Pros: Fit is great, looks really nice, anti-slip soles, wider to give you plenty of space for your feet, and very comfortable. Cons: My only con is that these are not waterproof, but instead water-resistant. This is clearly advertised, but I need to try when it is snowing or raining to see how long it resists water. dare I say these are too wide? I mostly wear just wide to box zero drop minimalist shoes. So I was all for a nice soft winter boot. the looks are alright- kind of giving old people vibes because of the coloring and the fabric choices. but it literally looks like a potato on my foot. It feels like its just as wide as it is long and I don't have tiny feet I'm a size 8. So they are not my favorite. They are warm- yes, but not a super flexible sole like other barefoot boots I have. If you have super wide feet maybe these will work for you but they don't fit the bill for me. Read more
These shoes are great for winter in the mid west. It has been snowing hard for several weeks where I live, and I've worn these daily. They keep my feet warm when I'm out in the cold, and not too hot when I'm inside. I haven't stepped in puddles with them, but they have stayed totally dry walking through snow and slush. They also don't slip around in the ice like many shoes that I own, which was unexpected. The toe box is plenty wide, but keep in mind that the extra insulation leaves less room for your foot inside them, so you may want to size up a little bit if you want extra space. I got my normal size and they feel fine, just a little less roomy than some of my other size 10 barefoot shoes. I'd definitely get these again though when they wear out. Read more
These winter boots stay warm and feel comfortable with their fur lining and roomy toe box. They grip well on slippery surfaces and handle wet or snowy conditions without leaking. Wore these boots for a good while in very cold conditions. They are super comfy and kept my feet warm quite well. I am pleased with them. My only small issue is that my toes hit the tip so maybe I should've gotten a half size larger. They still fit fine, just once in a while I notice that happening.
