Tank Top for Women Built in Bra High Neck Ribbed Basics Tops Racerback Fitted Bra Tanks

This is a review for the GKBK tank top for women with a built in bra. It is a ribbed tank top with spaghetti straps. I bought this top because it looked like a great basic top that would look amazing with many outfits. I have worn this with a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts and it looked amazing with both. What I like about this top is everything. I especially love the color. I'm thrilled that I was able to add this color to my wardrobe. I love that it offers a built in bra with removable pads. There is an elastic band under the pads to prevent them from shifting. I appreciate that this top is thick enough so it isn't see through. I also appreciate that this top has an added layer where the pads are so nobody knows that there are any pads. They just blend seamlessly. I often wear this top under shirts in place of a bra. It offers a great profile and a more feminine look. I also love where the bottom of the top ends. It ends just past my waist which is perfect for me. It looks great tucked in or out. I have purchased many tops in my life but I will say that don't remember having one as soft as this one. The fabric is so soft it glides across my skin. I wore this all day and not once did I feel the need to take it off because it was too rough or too hot. This top could be worn for a variety of occasions such as going shopping, working outside, gardening, hanging out with friends, or just doing housework. This top could be worn on its own or layered. I have worn this to work with blazer. I also wore it out shopping with a lightweight short sleeved top over it. I wear a size medium and this fits true to size. I hand washed this after removing the pads; I washed those separately. Then I hung the top on a hanger to dry and let the pads dry on a towel on a flat surface. I bought the gray in size small, and it’s honestly my new go-to tank. As someone who's 5'2" and around 118 lbs with a small chest, finding a fitted tank that doesn't feel too short, too long, too tight, or awkward is a struggle—this one nails it. It doesn't pinch under the arms, the high neck and racerback cut feel flattering and secure, and the built-in bra has light removable padding that's perfect for going braless (no need for an extra layer!). I love this tank top! I am 5'4" 143 lb. I got a size large because I do have a tummy. It fits as I would want it to. It does have the built-in bra, that holds fairly well. It's not extremely tight. I would have liked the bra portion to be a little more snug to hold the girls, however, it does keep them from bouncing around. The color is a beautiful red. Just as advertised. The material is very soft. I'm eager to see how well it washes up. It does not look like it will pill or go out of shape. I am very happy with this top, normally when I get a large for my tummy area breast portion and under the arms bags out and looks too big. This one seems to fit in the shoulders the bust the tummy absolutely everywhere! 100% would love this tank in 50 different colors. I highly recommend for a casual yet nice looking tank top. 1) Picture 1 shows the tank as it comes to you. 2) Picture 2 shows the tank out of the packaging. 3) Picture 3 shows the inside of the tank, where you can see the added bra pads. At the bottom, you can see a very thin elastic band that goes around you to help with support. The material has holes in it, which my understanding, is to provide air circulation. 4) Personally, I cannot wear this with the pads. I am a heavier bust-sized woman, and there is not enough support in this for me. There is the option for me to remove the pads. If you look along the armpit seam, there is a hole on both sides where you can remove the pads. I wouldn't try to put them back in if you take them out, because you would have to work with them to get them in the right place. I do appreciate that there is that option. It does fit very tightly as well, which is a plus for using the pads. For those smaller women who don't worry about the things I do, this would be a great tank top. It is sewn very well and feels nice to the touch. The other thing I didn't catch when I ordered it is that it says to hand-wash only. I'm wondering if that would change since I'm taking the pads out. Overall, the tank is made well, and for those who do not need a lot of support, it would be a nice addition to their wardrobe. Read more
