Darling! Well made and the fit of the small was perfect. I've returned vests for being too tight across the bust, but they had fit great below the bust. Purchasing this is a no brainer! The fabric is silky soft, and lined. It is so classy for a work outfit! I will definitely buy it in another color. For reference, I’m 5’3”, 168 pounds. My bra size is a 38/DD, or 40/C, I normally wear a large in tops, but I ordered an XL in this because of the measurements in the description and I didn’t want it to be tight. It was perfect; just past my waist (didn’t look cropped), or show skin, and not tight around the back and chest. You can’t see your bra or skin in the arm out area which is always nice. I bought two of these vests, red and black, to make a casual blouse and pants outfit look more polished. I haven’t worn the red one yet, but I’ve worn the black several times and it achieves the purpose perfectly. Great addition for going out to lunch or dinner. Read more

I checked out the Ruth reviews before I ordered this and although I did see that the top was boxy on other women I thought it looked all right on some of them. When I tried it on it was just so boxy and so unflattering. It is literally as if you put arm holes and a head hole in a paper bag. You could be cute if it were several inches smaller all around in the torso. I thought perhaps the fact that people had an ironed it when they were posting their pictures contributed to the fact that I didn’t look very flattering, but that’s not the issue, it’s the extremely oversized boxy cut.
