These, as I expected are super comfortable! They are very well constructed, stitching is even and no loose threads. The fabric is 97% cotton and 3% spandex. It has the feel of linen yet is not nearly as wrinkly. I laundered in cold water and then hung to dry as the label says do not tumble dry but I actually put mine in the dryer with the wool dryer balls for just 2 minutes to get a few wrinkles out before hanging and they're not super wrinkly as linen would be if treated similarly. They fit as expected, I normally wear an L or XL or size 14. I think they're flattering to me from the front. I don't have a good mirror to tell from the back but I think not so much from the back. But I'll probably just wear them with tunics or long t-shirts because I'm so in love with the fit. The pockets in the front are not super deep as they could be but they're deep enough to be of use. Pockets in the back also have some depth but since they're on an angle I doubt I would use them for much. Overall I'm pretty happy with these. Read more
I rated these 4 stars instead of 5 because they lack a drawstring. That is probably not a big deal for most people, but for me (5'4", 90lb), the drawstring would give me a little better fit. I should have ordered the X-small instead of the small, but they still would have been a little loose in the waist. The elastic waist is stitched so I could easily insert a drawstring, and after washing in hot water and drying at high heat, the pants fit nearly as well as a size small would. Let that be a caution to always wash and dry more gently. The fabric and construction are of excellent quality, with deep, functional pockets front and back. The barrel-style and soft but sturdy fabric with a touch of spandex makes them perfect for any activity that requires an unrestricted range of motion, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, or gardening. I love these but I fear I’m not trendy enough to pull them off 🤣. I like the material, it’s thin like windbreaker pants and the way it’s cut at diagonals is pretty cool. Usually pants are too long for me but I’m 5’4” and the length is great. Read more
I should start this review by letting you know that this is my first time trying barrel pants. I’m a size large and 5’8 and these seem to fit really big and really loose. They don’t look the same on me as the pictures- just a lot more baggy so I would actually size down. They are comfy and lightweight and the elastic waistband keeps them in place. The crotch kind of bunches in a weird unflattering way. They do hit at my ankle and besides the proportions, they seem well made/sewn. I feel like a genie or a rodeo clown (this may just be the nature of the pant style) in these so that’s a little disappointing but I’m sure these will look good on someone- just be sure to check the sizing! Hard to say if it’s an issue with just my preference and the style or the actual pants- but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and say they just aren’t for me but seem well made. Read more
These Barrel Pants for women have an elastic waistband that fits comfortably. I imagine these pants would be good for various body types. They have a loose fit and wide legs which is a current trend and what makes them comfortable. They are best for casual summer wear. I got the army green which, in my opinion, is a lighter hue of army green. The slant pockets are stylish too. Front and backside. These pants are stylish and comfortable casual wear but with the lightweight cotton/spandex fabric, they are best for warmer days. I certainly like them. Read more
They are soft and comfortable while being attractive. I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry. The packing wrinkles came out nicely. I would suggest washing them alone the first time. They did lose a little dye when I washed mine. I like the length, though I'm 5'3". So, you probably want to check the measurements before you order. I'm usually a U.S size 18. The size XL fit me comfortably. My only worry is I won't be able to wear them for awhile, because they aren't very warm. Still I think they're worth the price. They seem sturdy and well made. These barrel pants are very on-trend right now and actually really comfortable. The fabric is light but not cheap, and the design makes them feel different than basic joggers. They’re super roomy though—like, really roomy—so I recommend sizing down if you want a more tapered look. Great for chill days or pairing with a cropped top. Read more
