I don't think I've ever had a bag like this. When I pulled this beauty out of its dust bag and started removing all the lovingly placed packing material it was wrapped in, a loop of words started rushing through my mind. They all added up to luxury. I don't think I've ever felt a bag quite like this. I'll tell you straight out, I don't have a lot of money, so I always bought my bags and purses at discount stores. I've never even held a luxury brand bag, so I guess my comparison might not be fair, but I have to say y'all, this bag feels like it should cost hundreds of dollars. This is literally $19 on Amazon right now. That's wild but amazing at the same time. When I started unwrapping this bag, the weight of it first caught my attention. I put it on the scale, and it weighs a little over one pound. This tote is so buttery soft, smooth, and silky that it feels like it would slip through your fingers if it could. But at the same time, the inside is made of a thick, strong, leather-like material that feels like soft suede. I've never felt anything quite like it. It's really neat, and it's a great quality bag. The first thing I look for is the stitching, so I turned the entire bag inside out. I actually think it looks great inside out and even works. This tote is a well-made, sturdy, durable bag. There is so much room inside this tote, and pictures don't do it justice. I was curious, so I pulled out my puffy, heated throw, which I was sure would be way too big for the bag, but I rolled that blanket up into a ball and stuffed it inside. There's still room. I have a few of the Tantomi bags and they are all great, but this black tote bag is beyond AMAZING!!! My gosh it is the softest material!! I am obsessed!! If you ever felt leather, and then felt a buttery soft deerskin then you know what I mean. That’s what this bag resembles! This is a good size tote. I have a Longchamps Le Pilage in the larger size and they are very similar in size. The Tantomi is actually a bit taller. I was able to take my purse organizer from the Longchamps and put it right in the new tote, and it fits perfect. This tote is so soft that you really should have an organizer because the bag has no structure it’s that soft. You will see in pics how it flops over without one. That would drive me nuts to deal with! Lol Once you place the organizer in there, the bag stands upright on its own. If you don’t use an organizer, the shape of the bag changes. It naturally goes to a more square shape. It’s pretty. So I dug around in my closet and found a smaller rectangular shaped organizer and that worked a lot better. So now you have a couple of options for this bag. I love the single strap closure too. The gold is so pretty!! Some might not like that the bag doesn’t zip shut, but to be honest that zipper on the Longchamps drives me crazy with that flap they have. So the Tantomi is all around nicer!! It has one big slot pocket on the inside, that’s it. Shoulder straps are thin so they fit perfectly and don’t fall down. It’s lightweight too, so very easy to carry all day! You could use this as an overnight tote too if you just take a small makeup bag and change of clothes. So many uses!! And the price is so incredibly reasonable you can buy 2!! I mean you won’t be sorry, if you’re looking for a gorgeous stylish tote bag, pick your color and get this in your cart already!! You won’t be sorry!! I would recommend this to everyone!! Read more
I really needed a new purse, and one with more space than I previously had - and this one definitely solved that problem for me. It’s fairly big, doesn’t have a middle divider (which I can’t decide if that’s a pro or con quite yet, but I’m leaning con). It does have side storage inside which I appreciate. Aesthetically it’s a 10/10 in my opinion as it matches the product images and my expectations fully there. The strap seems pretty durable as does the clasp. I feel it’ll last me a good long while which is great. I’m pleased thus far. If anything does happen to occur I’ll return to update with reasoning. Read more
I love this tote. It fits everything I need without turning into a saggy mess. The material feels soft but still has structure which keeps the bag looking clean and put together. It has that lightweight feel you want for everyday use but still seems durable enough to handle being tossed around. The inside has plenty of room for my wallet, makeup bag, planner, and even a water bottle. I can easily fit all my daily stuff without feeling like I am digging around in a bottomless pit. The twist lock closure is simple and quick which is way more convenient than fiddling with a zipper. The handles have a comfortable grip and sit nicely on my shoulder without slipping. It has a minimalist look that works with basically any outfit. I have already used it for running errands, going out to lunch, and heading to appointments and it fits every situation. It is one of those bags that looks more expensive than it is. For the price and the size, this is honestly a great find. It is stylish, roomy, and easy to carry. This tote bag is large and functional. Compared to others I’ve tried, this actually has some structure to it without being rigid. It is pretty big and has a large carrying capacity. The straps and closure are a good quality and stitched well. I’ve used this to carry two 1 gallon bottles of water and still had room for more stuff. The straps and bag held up well despite the weight of my items. I’ve also used it to carry my books and laptop. It has a leather like look and looks better than the average tote bag.
