I ordered these TarHong Montana Goblet, 22oz., Premium Plastic, Set of 6 to use on our newly redone patio this summer. We have a sunken patio with a roof, a steep set of concrete steps down from our yard and another set up from our English basement. I have mobility issues, and haven’t been able to use it for a few summers, but after tons of hard work, I can get up and down those stairs safely again. To celebrate, we redid the patio. Now it’s our new outdoor living/dining room, with a bar corner. And it’s my outdoor office on nice days, too. We’re setting up the bar for the summer, and I wanted a nice set of unbreakable wine glasses. When I opened these up, I was delighted. These are really lovely outdoor wine glasses. From a distance, you would think these are really glass. Actually, until you pick one up and realize how light it is, you wouldn’t know the difference. The acrylic is crystal clear. These are large, luxurious glasses, made to hold a lot of your favorite drink, be it lemonade or sangria. They are about 9” tall. The bowl of the glass is about 6” tall. At the top of the glass, it measures about 3”, at the widest part of the bowl, it measures close to 5”. The lines of these goblets are classic, they have a high end feel. The wide, sturdy bases are ideal for outdoor dining, they keep these tall glasses very steady on the tabletop. I got these for outside on the patio this summer, but they would be fine to use indoors as well, for casual dining. These hold a whopping 24 ounces. Plenty of room for ice in your drinks, plenty of room for garnishes in your drinks, plenty of room for your drink. The goblets are BPA free and dishwasher safe. I’ve been hand washing because I like to keep my acrylics looking new as long as possible, and they wash up very quickly. These did come with inventory stickers on the bottom, but they were relatively easy to peel off. At their current price ($17.78 for 6 goblets) this is really quite a nice deal. I have another set that isn’t nearly as nice as these, and they cost almost three times as much. This is the price I’d expect from a big box store, but these have the quality of a housewares boutique in our NYC neighborhood. Perfect stemware for your patio, porch, pool deck, or picnic. You can't tell these are plastic just by looking at them. They look like real glass until you pick them up. These are a very nice weight and wash up very well. No seams or other marks at all in the plastic and a nice smooth rim for comfortable drinking. These are nice to have as extra wine glasses for this summer and they fit well in the dishwasher. I needed some glasses for outdoor use, and being unbreakable, these seemed to fit the bill. I was a bit skeptical when I received the package, as these came unpackaged and loose in a box with only some padding, but they were all in perfect condition. I kind of expected a plastic-looking glass, but these look exactly like real glass. Once you pick them up, you'll realize they're not, as they're much lighter. They are well-made and solid. I especially like the extra thick base. These will be perfect for outdoor use, but I can see using them as everyday glasses as well. They look great. One last thing: I absolutely hate buying glassware that has impossible-to-peel stickers on it.
