Comfortable & Effective

My father has mild to moderate edema in his feet and legs, but has had a couple of episodes during which his skin ruptured and gotten infected. The wound clinic nurse practitioner prescribed a particular type of compression footless device but his insurance wouldn’t pay for it because they determined that measurements of his wounds were too small. Those compression devices cost $180 per pair as well. I found these zippered compression socks and my dad tried them to see how they’d work out. He’s been very pleased. He said his feet, ankles, and calves feel supported in them and for caregivers, they are much easier to put on than regular compression socks. (The ones the NP prescribed required a lot more effort to put on; they’re basically like a fancy, complicated ace bandage.) He’s been using the zippered compression socks for several months and the wound care clinic staff, his podiatrist, and his primary care doctor said these socks have made a difference and each has inquired about where to get them. Also, we’ve machine washed them numerous times in the last several months and they’ve held up well. Of course, consult with your provider about using these types of compression socks but we highly recommend them for people with mild to moderate edema. Read more

Good Quality and Very Good Fit.

These Socks are nery comfortable and easy to put on. With regular use, they last a long time and do not lose their shape. One of the zippers broke, but the others held up fine. I will purchase these again. Read more

FAR too large when ordered per sizing chart

I measured then ordered these in a size according to the size chart. I put on the first sock and it was way WAY too large and provided no pressure, it was loose on me. Sadly, compression hose are considered Final Sale items and are not returnable. Read more

Think twice

these are very hard to zip and the zipper is very flimsy, therefore my 83-year-old mother she for sure couldn’t get them on, and I struggled until I was afraid to break the zipper. I returned them Read more
