These TARSE Women's Gingham capri pants are a late-season find, as the weather is currently hitting the freezing mark. I acquired these for next spring and summer's wardrobe. I must say, that I absolutely LOVE them. The combination of linen, lycell, and rayon gives the fabric the unique qualities of being substantial (so it drapes well) yet lightweight enough to be breathable. Love the gingham checks, which are always classic; also a fave are the Palazzo-style legs, which make them very comfortable. I ordered a size L based on the sizing chart - it is just slightly snug, but not overly so. Fits well over the hips and buttocks. I typically wear between Medium and Large -- if you typically take an L, you might want to size up. If I were to say one thing that is slightly less-than-positive, it would be the maker's tag front and center of the waistband - why did the designer do this? It makes the capris look sportier - I prefer a dressier look. I'll need to find a blouse or belt to cover this. (Or perhaps get out a seam ripper and remove the tag?) For $20, this is a great find for next year's clothing line-up. Dressier than shorts, not as stuffy (and hot) as slacks. Love it! Read more

The TARSE Women’s Gingham Wide Leg Linen Capri Pants definitely deliver on their wide leg design and the gingham pattern and cinched elastic waist create a very stylish, flattering look. The side pockets are deep and practical, which adds to their everyday appeal. The linen blend fabric is heavier than expected, and would likely be most comfortable in spring, early summer or early fall. These pants are well suited for casual weekend outings or vacation wear. The care instructions note that the fabric blend may shrink, so the pants should be washed in cold water either by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. The tag specifies “Do Not Use Dryer”, so line drying is required to maintain the fit and fabric quality. In summary, this is a stylish, comfortable pair of wide leg capris with nice side pockets and seasonal versatility, as long as you follow the care instructions and avoid putting them in the dryer. I would not call these pants plaid, culottes, or capri pants. They are way longer than what I think of as capri or culottes, coming to just above my ankles. I am 5'5" tall. They are gingham, not plaid. They are wide-legged, light to medium-weight, comfortable, and true to size, as long as you are quite tall. I wear them as regular wide-leg pants. They go through my standard wash day routine without issue. I will wear them frequently this fall and next year once the weather starts to warm up. The pattern looks quite wild in the thumbnails as I edit this review. In reality, they are a standard gingham as shown in the listing. Read more
I usually wear a L, and sometimes a XL. Bought a XL and they are bit baggy on me. I am wishing I would've got a L. If you don't want these to fit baggy then go ahead and order your normal size. Overall, these pants were comfortable but slightly too big on me. Read more
I want one of each color STAT. These are made of a mid-heavy weight fabric and feel amazing on. I am 175lbs and about 5’5” with a waist measuring about 33-34” depending on if I’m bloated for the time of the month. These look old-timey, but cleverly modern. They are a capri style cut, but at the same time WIDE LEG!! I doubt these pants will rip or tear easily because of the quality of the fabric. The XL size was perfect for me! Read more
I love all TARSE wide leg pants! They are so comfy and well made with pockets! The pants have an easy to wear elastic waist. I just threw on a white Tshirt and sandals - perfect for summer dressing! So lightweight. The brown gingham is versatile- dressed up with nice shoes and a sweater or jacket for work. Put on a nice Tshirt and sneakers for something more casual. I would say the sizing is true to size, no need to up size. Read more
These pants are very cute. They are super oversized in the legs, but tighter in the waist. I got a medium, but I'm not sure if that was the right size. So the fit is a little weird. The fabric is not incredibly breathable. They are not linen, so I don't know how comfortable they would be in the summer. But they are good for the fall. Read more
So pleasantly surprised by the quality, fit and fabric of these pants. They can be paired with a tshirt or dressed up with a nice blouse, which is a plus. My only minor complaint would be the visible tag on the front of the pants, but even still I think a cropped tee would be fine. I love the weight and that they are not see through. I normally wear a small and ordered a small. It fits true to size. Read more
