These linen barrel pants are super comfortable. I like that they are high waisted and the drawstring allows for subtle adjustments in the hip/waist region. The length is perfect, they hit right above the ankles. The material is soft and breezy and the pockets are adequate size. One thing I do not love is the large white logo on the front of the waistband. It’s awkwardly placed and is something I will definitely cover when wearing these pants out. These pants are okay, and I wish I liked them more; I'm hoping they'll grow on me after a few washings. Pros: Well constructed and finished. The elastic waistband is sewn in, so it doesn't twist. The pockets do not add bulk to my hips. Dye is rich and even. Relaxed fit and true to size. I am 5'9" and they hit right at my ankles (a little longer would have been nice). Machine washable, but not to be put in the dryer. Good for light-weight pants at the pool or beach. Cons: One product description says these are linen, and another says they are a linen-cotton blend; they are 30% linen and 70% rayon. They are thin and see-through if you are backlit. These are super lightweight pants and amazing for wearing as pajamas. I use a huge heavy blanket in winter because I like to sleep with the heat down to be more cozy, but I also like wearing pants. These allow me to achieve optimal coolness without overheating in my sleep. The only con is that the inseam is even shorter on me. I can live with it though. Read more
