Don’t look anywhere else and just buy this one. I used a paper tape measure and I am 34 at the hips and 36 at the belly button. First time kilt buyer. Spent a lot of time looking at every aspect from nearly every kilt on Amazon. Chose this one because of the pockets. Rather small pocket on the right side.... ink pens, glasses, small pocket knife. Larger pocket on the left will easily hold cell phone. Fake pocket flap on the right rear. Belt loops if you choose to wear a belt with it. Was very surprised at the sizing. Their sizing scale is right on.... 5X is 48" at the belly button. great product. Great quality for good price. Nice buckles. Easy to wear, very comfy. I am a woman, so it was a bit roomy in the waist/a touch snug in the top of the hips (which worked well- no worries about it falling down). This fit was expected, as it is made for a man, no disappointment on my part. I cinched the extra at the waist in by wearing a belt.
