I've purchased this product before as a suggested replacement for the Benefits "You Rebel" light. (Benefits seems to discontinue just about everything that I like, but I digress.) This light version of Tarte Amazonian Clay Bb comes with yellow undertones which work perfectly for me. It blends smoothly and I can even mix it with my SPF 30 facial lotion for an even less made up look. At the end of the day, I actually prefer this product to the Benefits one. Read more

Love Love Love. Matches amazingly well. This was recommended by the beautician who does my facials. She wears it herself as well. Feels very light on your skin. Not too oily or drying either. Just perfect. Read more

Amazonian clay BB tinted moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20, light 1 ea., from Tarte. A tinted moisturizer made for light complexions with yellow undertones, this high performance natural product is ultralight, waterbased, blends into skin like moisturizer. For those of us with sensitive skins, it’s formulated without oil, so it won’t clog pores. It will provide good skin coverage while masking imperfections, lacks that orange tone present in so many products formulated for “medium” complexions. It features SPF 20 sun protection to help prevent sunburn, decrease risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. Its micro-treated mineral pigments diffuse the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving an even, natural finish. The dermatologist-tested formula is full of "skinvigorating™" antioxidant ingredients such as Amazonian clay, chamomile, vitamins A, C, and E, and sodium hyaluronate – currently one of the hottest trends in beauty products --which all work in harmony to nourish, moisturize, protect, and revitalize all skin types. And it is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, gluten. It is vegan and cruelty-free – no testing on animals-- very important considerations for me. Furthermore, it is made in the U.S. A. I’ve arrived at this product fairly recently, and, while it is more expensive than some mass-market tinted moisturizers I’ve tried, I find it gives more even, thorough coverage, without streaks, lumps or bumps. And I am able to apply it to the sensitive discolored skin around my eyes without negative reaction: the last product in this category that I applied here didn’t work so well on this fussy skin. Well, in this day and age, I just don’t know why anyone would buy daytime moisturizer without SPF protection, or, for that matter, without a hint of tint, which saves you a step in those rushed mornings, and every morning is, around here. It’s a win-win for me. Read more
