I love this mattress cover! For all the reasons I am looking for. So last year I had to see an immunologist because of my chronic cough and he ended up advising me to get such a cover because I am allergic to dustmite. I did a bit of research then put it off. This year's high allergy season is coming soon. My husband and daughter had already been coughing for weeks. And also our 1.5 yo toddler keeps sleeping in our bed and messing it up with her various body fluids (which I will not specify here). So when I saw this one, I was like it is finally time to invest to protect our mattress and ourselves. The price is pretty reasonable for a Cal King size. And I liked how soft the top layer feels, which feels like full cotton, even though we do not sleep directly on it I can feel it through our thin layer of sheet ( we don't use anything in between currently and that is also why I feel it's so important to have another layer). Underneath the cotton layer there is a water proof layer. I was concerned about noise because it's kinda plasticy but now that we have put it on, I notice no trace if that. It is as good as we had nothing underneath. The bottom layer seems really water proof because when I washed it the water stayed pretty much on the surface. Yet we haven't had an accident yet so I can't say much there. The only difference I have noticed is that our mattress has a gel layer and some cooling effect, with this barrier I feel a bit less of that cooling effect. But I think that is to be expected for something that is waterproof. And I would exchange that for the protection anytime. Overall I am very satisfied with this product so far. Read more

I bought this because someone had previously bought me a brand new queen size mattress pad cover for my queen size bed. However, the gift from a different store barely fit the mattress - regular mattress, not even pillow top, and if I so much as sat on the bed the corner would pop right off. If I turned in bed or one of my dogs shifted in the night, the corner would pop right off, pretty much nightly and multiple times/night. I looked at what Amazon had to offer and saw the reviews on this mattress pad. I have dogs, so I thought it would be a bonus to have a waterproof quality included. Based on reviews, I bought it. I received the mattress pad fast and as expected. It goes on so easy and fits extremely well. It would also fit a much taller mattress than mine but at the same time it is not loose and bunched up at all, nor is it too tight and barely fitting. Fits perfect. When I came home from church today, I found that my 120 lb doberman vomited pretty much a lake on the bed. When I lifted the mattress pad to see how well it performed...Perfect! The underside of the mattress pad was dry and of course so was the mattress. No staining, no transfer. I definitely recommend this mattress protector. I'm only washing it now for the first time, so I don't have an accurate assessment of the durability over time, but it certainly stands up to liquid. As a side note, it is almost like a thin terry cloth cover, soft, no noise or crunching. For those that like extra padding or fluffiness in a mattress pad: it is not fluffy or pillow like, so no extra padding. It is comfortable. Read more

Just here 2 years later to leave a review. I love this thing. It has saved my mattress from pee and chocolate milk. And it’s not crunchy or uncomfortable, it’s honestly like it’s not even there. I’ve come to buy another one after an incident today, I have no washer and just need a second one on hand just incase. But the one I bought two years ago is still in PERFECT condition. I bought one for my son but a different brand and that one melted in the dryer. This one has had no issues with shrinking or melting and I just throw it in any dryer at all different heat settings lol. She’s a champ. Love itttttt. Also I hate the ones where you move on the bed and it makes an annoying noise. this one does not do that at all, it’s silent like you only have a sheet on the bed. I like this more than the previous one I purchased that was so thick I couldn’t move. This o e is much better. It works very well with spills even though I never eat or drink anything in bed. It is easy to put on with the deep stretch mesh on the sides and I never ever have a problem turning over in bed with this under my sheet. I wish this company or someone would make fitted sheets like this. The stretch sides no one sees and have the percale sheet on top. That would be the best for me. It is to hard to pull fitted sheets overr the corners and sides. But this mattress cover is perfect . Please make sheets like this it’s that good. Read more
