The quality of these socks are excellent. I have had this pair of socks for two years. They are worth it. The thickness of the sock isn't too much, but is warm enough for those colder winter months when you want to keep your ankles covered. The size is perfect as well, the stretchiness of the fabric is just right. They're a bit tight at the ankle but once you slip them on (like when you put on boots)- they fit like a glove. I purchased these in conjunction with a cheaper three pack option from another brand. These are by far the better option. They wash well, form nicely to my foot without being too tight, and they are also comfortable and breathable, and they keep their shape. The little grippies on the bottom are fixed the sock securely, and they are small but effective, unlike some other socks where they fall off in the wash. I guess you get what you pay for.
