DOA, ordered replacement

DOA, However batteries were installed when I opened, and no plastic pull tab. I replaced with new batteries, still no joy. Pkg info states that they should be in box, not installed, so maybe it was a defective return that was placed back in stock, anyway a PIA to return, since Amazon only gave me Whole Foods as drop off return and there was no "associates" at the drop off counter, the automated return scanner had trouble with my phone until I increased brightness to 100% It looked like I might enjoy if it works, will get replacement tomorrow, hold your fingers crossed. Replacement worked great, but still 1 star for sending defective product and terrible return experience New unit arrived, fast shipped, Thanks and works just as described. One of my favorite things is that you don’t have to tap or stomp on it to get it to turn on—it just works as soon as you step on, which is so much more convenient than other scales I’ve used in the past.
