These are the MOST comfortable hiking pants you'll ever want. The wide soft waistband holds just right. It really doesn't need the drawstring, but it's good to have. I have a hard time finding small hiking pants that fit my waist without being super baggy everywhere else, so these were perfect. I'm 5' tall and very short waisted so it's frustrating. The grip string at the bottom of the pant legs are really nice, too. And I love all the zip pockets. The fabric is light weight and dries fast. I wish they had more colors, but I love these pants. I wanted to replace my airport travel pants with a more functional everyday pant (i.e., sightseeing/walks/casual days in the office). These fit the bill - comfortable, soft, well made with generous pockets, and zippers! I had originally purchased a size small and to my surprise, the fit was more like a medium - too much fabric in the front crotch and bum area, and overall baggy. I returned the small for an XS and this size fits exactly how I wanted - fitted to my frame with just enough space for free flow movement. For context, I am 5'2, 128 lbs, and a true size 6 in pants. If you're considering these pants, consider your style/fit preference - if you want a loose fit, order the recommended size. However, if you want a regular/slim fit, go a size down. I was very impressed with how stretchy, comfortable, and durable, these pants are, while being quite wind and rain resistance. Recently hiked in windy Iceland in heavy rain, and around the spray of several waterfalls. Equally up for the challenge of shopping and dining in downtown Reykjavik. I absolutely LOVE these pants! I came across them while doing a search for “women's’ plus size easy wear pants.” I am NOT a hiker and have no plans of being one, LOL. Not only are they affordable but they are comfortable, lightweight, and kept me cool even in upper 80’s temps. The drop waist style with the drawstring is brilliant and the deep side pockets and pocket on the back provide plenty of room for an iPhone and keys. These pants remind me of the much higher price Nike Dry Fit line but I like these much better. I originally ordered in a XXL but returned and reordered in a XL which was a great fit for me. I wear a size 18 and I’m 5’4. The only problem with these pants do not come in enough colors!! Will be buying every color that is currently available! Read more
Very comfortable and soft. I wore these for the first time today for a grocery run then an hour walk. I love the pockets and flexible waist band with a tie. I specifically wanted a tie waist as I frequently am between sizes. Large is perfect for me at 5'6" and 145 lbs. I am thinking to order another color. Read more
Light weight, stain resistant, comfortable fit. Easy to wash and dries quickly. The bottom ties help shorten the pants for someone 5ft 2 and still looks nice. Quality zippers. I would buy another pair. Read more
