I have never installed a ceiling fan before. This took me about 2 hours. Instructions were easy to follow and it works great! Be sure to have wire strippers on hand. I didn’t and had to use a paring knife and that took up 30 minutes. Very sleek, low profile. I will likely order another one for another room. The fans are fantastic. Quiet, easy to install by yourself. Bright light, great airflow, and the remote works great. You’re probably wondering why I gave it 1 star then, well you’re about to find out. I ordered 5 fans in silver, I received 3 silver 1 white and 1 black. No big deal, it happens. I go to return the 2 miscolored fans and reorder more silver fans to see the price of the silver fan was hiked $30 a piece from $129 to $159. I emailed support about it and they tried to tell me they ran out of silver fans and that I bought it on sale and that there was nothing they could do. If you ran out of silver why the heck would you send me random colors instead of stopping the order? “On sale” was obvious bs, there was no mention of a discount or coupon in the listing. So after some arguing they finally agreed to make it right and do a reorder for 2 silver fans as long as the other 2 are returned within a month. I was told those 2 fans would arrive Sunday. It is Tuesday evening and the fans haven’t moved from the next town over in days. Love the look of this fan. My husband was able to install it fairly easily. It was a little different than what had originally been on our ceiling, so he kind of had to mess with that, and one of the screws ended up getting stripped. Once it was installed it worked great and really pretty quiet. Super happy with it, and now I'm thinking about getting one for our living room. Read more

A breeze to install and perfect for living room! Just set up the TCL 52' celling fan with lights (dark wood finish) on my screened porch. As a first-time DIYer, i was nervous, but the package has all hardware included-no extra trips to the store needed. Pro tips: cut the breaker power first! I followed the video tutorial, and the step by step assembly felt intuitive. Hanging the mounting bracket securely was key. Wiring the control box took patience ( about 10 minutes of double checking connections), but the steel safety loop held the fan steady while i worked. Two hours later, it was up! Zero wobbling at high speed- thanks to the included balancing weights. The dimmable LED light is a nice touch, i switch it to warm white for dinners and bright white when grilling. Quite motor? Check. My living room feels warmer now, and the airflow is no joke, even my plants are less wilted. Manual could use clearer diagrams, but overall, this fan upgraded my winter nights! Read more
