SIZING & FIT I typically wear a size 8, which is the size I ordered, and these boots fit perfectly. These boots hit approximately two inches above my ankle. For reference, I am 5'8’’ tall with 13-inch calves. I did have a minor issue with the top of the left boot rubbing against the outside of my calf. I was sprinting around a large venue with no time to break these in. When my sock stayed in place, it was fine – so a tiny, thin sock made all the difference. Since it only happened on one side, this might have been an issue specific to me. FEATURES & DETAILS The heels on these boots feel sturdy. I did have to slow down a bit - it has been a while since I have sprinted in heels. If you wear heels often, this will not be a problem for you. The toe box was comfortable. I had no issues there. I usually worry about pointed toes, but these boots did not cause any problems. The zipper on these boots works smoothly in most directions. I walked on various surfaces, both indoors and outdoors, and had no issues with traction. I have not yet had the chance to test them on wet surfaces. The color of these boots is beyond gorgeous, and the small gold portion on the heel and the zipper pull are fabulous embellishments. I can honestly say I do not have this color in my massive boot collection. Sometimes I wear a lot of black, so these boots are perfect for adding a splash of color to my outfits. I cannot forget to talk about the sensational rose on the outside of each boot. They are just perfect — the right size and shape. They are not too large to look gaudy, but they stand out just enough to be eye-catching. OVERVIEW I have only worn these boots once, and I received a dozen compliments. To be fair, I was at a large venue, but I even saw people pointing my boots out to others. These boots are great for work, church, or special events that require dressing up. Personally, I would not wear them casually, but others may prefer to. If you love boots, add these to your boot closet (you know you have one). These boots truly looks and feels super high end and luxurious all around. The durable and high quality patent leather in Wine Red is quite striking to look at, especially with the addition of crystal embellishments and embossed crocodile leather on the upper backside. Instant favorite! Instant keeper! These are true to size as well. Perfect for medium feet. The block heels are perfect as they’re neither too high nor too short, which are super sturdy and super comfortable to walk in for an extended period of time, with the addition of foam bed support of some sort in the insoles. They also keep my feet super warm and cozy, which cannot be any more perfect for winter months. These can be beautifully worn either dressed up or dressed down. That said, I absolutely recommend these boots to others, as these boots looks even better in person than the pictures on the listing and way more than worth the asking price. The boots in the photo are a medium dark brown, these boots are a light Carmel brown color. I find them impossible to match with shoes or belt, so I am returning them. They are cute though. I didn’t bother to try them on since the color was way oof from what I thought I was getting. Read more

This boot shoe is absolutely gorgeous! It's very comfortable to wear dressy or casual. The inside of the boot has a really soft cushion for comfort. I ordered the brown. The picture looked dark brown but the actual color is lighter like camel brown. Bottom of the boot is non slip and zipper moves freely.
